Point to a seniority list that doesn't work that way...

It's just so simple. Why don't they get it?

Then what's the point of negotiation, mediation and arbitration of an integrated seniority list? You're college educated, figure it out.
 
To the west pilot that wouldn't speak to us in ATL the other day, I just want to let you know that it really crushed us. It has troubled me ever since, that's why I'm not asleep right now, it's keeping me awake.

Not cool, especially with deadheading crews. I look at at this way. As a former football player and now an avid fan, I can root for my team without throwing beers on the opposing fans. I've found some common ground the my opponents whether it be politics or the 727. I also remember my old friends who took a fork in the road, went East and my new friends who came West.

I can dislike the team and not hate the fans. At least I try.

Thanks for clearing that up..and with the exquisite subtlety one would expect from a well-educated and finely-honed, legal "mind". :) Why...just the exclamatory "HA!", of itself, makes a compelling argument. ;)

Umm...That would be the nic ticket...assuming anyone whimsically wishes to call it a "seniority" list, that is. ;)

Hmm....He speaks of an additional ten years of worked service, that you wish to contemptuously disregard...and YOU speak of being "entitlement-minded"..? Folks....Seriously: You just can't make this kind of stuff up! :)

I believe the correct response would be, "apple and oranges." At that commuter we were not part of a merger. With your reasoning, if a merger had occured those individuals would have jumped ahead of me. Don't feel bad, sometimes the student becomes the teacher:)

Same here. I know that the vast majority of west guys are good ones. Sometimes those few that aren't on here get to me. The thing about Mr. ATL is that he probably would have really been mad if he knew it just made us laugh.

After 8 years of trying to screw over the west you just now were ignored by a crew. It must have bothered you because you brought it up.

I have been getting the head turn, look at their shoes ignore from east pilots for years.

It is going to be real fun around here when judge Silver rolls the Nicolau up tight and inserts it as the only seniority list for US Airways pilots. You east pilots going to be friendly and say hello then?

The west always claims the furloughed guys didn't bring jobs to to the airline. Your #1 didn't bring a job until 1983. Why should should he put any senior to his DOH, he didn't bring a job till 10 years later. You guys want it both ways.

It wasn't a crew, it was an AF/O. Didn't bother me at all, we laughed our rears off.

Ever since this started I've tried to treat west pilots with respect and give them the benefit of the doubt until they showed themselves to be tools. I'll do the same after Silver rules, no matter what the outcome. And...if you win, I will be on here saying your were right. Can you pledge the same?
