Chances are in Israel if the teacher doesn't have a gun, the military is near by. I think they took note on the Russian school incident a few years back by Muslim terrorists.

Israel has compulsory service. That teacher was in the military. They serve in the reserve till they are 55. They have weapons at home and they are in a constant state of war. The US is not Israel. Not even a close comparison,

You want gun control that could eventually relinguish the second amendment ?
What happened in China, Sparky...is the direct result of no firearms in a country.
With that said, I agree 22 were not killed but it does reflect the next stage in the game after firearm confiscation.....a person with mental issues will still go the distance to hurt, maim or kill whether or not firearms are available.

Go ask any of the family members of any gun shot victim and ask them if they would have preferred it be a knife wound? I'll take a knife wound over a gun shot any day. It is far more difficult and far different to knife someone rather than shoot someone. That is why guns are more popular than knives. Just because we cannot stop all violence does not mean we should just lay down and take it.

On March 18th 1927 a school board member aged 55 blew up the school with himself and 58 other inside. So much for gun control.
