I watched Alex Jones rant about our "tyrannical government" last night on Piers Morgan. This is the same government that gives him a place on the White House website to start a petition of dissidence. Does he really think a tyrannical government would give him such a voice? Try and do that in China or North Korea, or many other countries Alex. You will then discover the true meaning of tyranny.

He did not help his cause much in his latest episode. All he did was cement his place in the lunatic fringe of American society.

He will be praised by his base supporters (Delldude), but that was not his audience. He just alienated all he was trying to convert.

Find me an example of that type of incident and I'll be four square behind banning firearms.

I don't want to ban firearms. I want to prevent households with mentally unstable people living there from owning them. Gun provision in Obamacare?
Appears NRA got this wording put into Obamacare.

Gupta noted that the initiative to have the wording included during the contentious health care debate was rooted in the NRA’s stance that patients should not be penalized or discriminated against for owning firearms. As can be seen from the above portion of the legislation, while doctors are not banned from asking about guns, they are forbidden from documenting the information and using it for research purposes.

Just as interesting as the debate over the provision, itself, is the notion that it was Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), an NRA-supporter, who added the wording to the bill back in 2010. While a spokesperson for Reid told the Post that the leader never spoke with the NRA about the wording and that he did not believe that “it changed gun laws in any way,” that hasn’t stopped critics from wondering why Reid so staunchly supported the measure.

An adviser who spoke off-the-record, recently told CNN that the senator is “in a different place than he was in 2010″ when it comes to firearms.

Biden: Obama Considering 'Executive Order' to Deal With Guns
