Another School Massacre

Testosterone alert!!!
:p

"Testosterone"...? Nonsense! The aggregate of collected "liberals" here would likely need months of clinical therapy to ever even evidence any...and then substantial therapy would be needed for them to deal with their shocked response. ;)

Once you eliminate suicides and gang related murders, it comes down to about 2,000 incidents where people die as a result of a firearm. Of those, a large majority are homocides where the victim knew the shooter.

The only way to appreciate liberty is to have it taken away from you.

Personally, I'm all for compulsory service immediately after high school. I've yet to meet someone for whom it didn't have a positive impact on.

Compulsorily service also introduces people to each other that would never happen in a 'natural' environment.
People tend to stay in their 'comfort zone' and avoid interaction with each other, much less the world.
Even though I volunteered, it was he best move I ever made. Opened my eyes to a lot of the world.

Agreed. Nothing like sharing the same trials, troubles and dangers with other human beings better opens one's eyes up to all of our mutual worth.

IMHO If you did not serve you do not have the right to say that others should be forced to do so.  Barring a national emergency individuals should not be made to join the military.  Or any other form of compulsory service for that matter.

And that has to do with what in regards to gun laws?

Dodge and delfect,?

Naw,    all the concern here made me think of death stats and wondered with Michelle Obama's 'Lets Move' campaign.........was curious how many lives she could be saving.

The goal of legalizing alcohol was to eliminate the black market and to regulate it. A lot of people were dying or getting I'll due to poor quality. Had nothing to do with stopping drinking. That was the intent of prohibition. Your analogy sounds cute but falls flat.

Legalizing pot is mainly money issue. Look at CO'S tax receipts. Not aware of anyone of authority saying it would stop drug use. It's also going to whittle away at the black market.
