All that, and yet you remained at or near the top among your peers.
In BASE wages and only after the other airlines went Bankrupt after we did our concessions. And after AMFA lost most of the members they had and got crucified over at NWA.

Wow. It just never gets old does it. Just move on for Christ's sake. I pray for you guys to get AMFA. I really do.

Only base wages?  Remind me, when you call in SK, is your first day covered at half pay?  I wouldn't mind having retained those two items.

So if Fleet made $15 an hour, took a $5 cut and yet still remained near the top, you guys would still be complaining about Fleet.
Like Zom JFK says, give it a break. I too wish you the best for AMFA and mechanics. Reminds me of MARSHA, MARSHA, MARSHA...

Oh wow. You just proved me so wrong about how much better we got it over you. That half sick day makes all the difference. I bought me a Ferrari off of that savings.

Seriously? C'mon?

Maybe if you had been in the negotiations you could have exchanged that for .20 cents an hour? Or whatever the heck it was worth to your group in value?

Bad analogy.  Give it a rest?  Not gonna happen.

Look, proving you wrong isn't real high on my priority list.  I will say this though, if AMFA had been representing us during these last negotiations (with observers present) we wouldn't be in this rut.

Agreed. Because many of you would be unemployed and working somewhere else right now.

RUMOR IS that it came out in the tulsa union meeting today that they expect it to take at least 12 months to negotiate a new contract. The hold up is expected to be that delta +7% is not for all the work groups and that the international will be dragging their feet...

Also that they put a close date on the landing gear, plating and a few other shops. Kinda pissing off a lot of machinists and welders..

Sometimes. But sometimes I also can't help but get up and light a few of those spectacular displays.

Not too many experienced AMTs are unemployed, and if they are - it's by choice.
