My guess is that you will end up with a run-off between the AMFA and the IBT. TWU is history. There will be a lot of crying going on from the appointed ones after the first election.
I think you may have guessed wrong. I think the election will be only between the IBT and TWU.I am not sure how you guess to get amfa involved? They filed too late.

TWU shop stewards are making the rounds asking why people are fed up with them. I have talked to several of them who were not around in 89 when, after record profits by AA, the TWU gave away our free medical. This was a case of voting no on the first offer then the TWU recommends a yes vote on the second offer that was identical to the first but without any retro pay. Then in 95 we were sold out so the A scalers could get their 5 and 5 and AA could get their SRPs. Surprisingly they were all around in 2003 when the TWU helped AA lie about the BK filing that was never going to happen. Of course when I ask them why a stock clerk deserves more vacation and 100% sick pay and I don't, they blame separate negotiations which is the pat answer for them. How could anyone remain loyal to a "Union" that sacrifices the pay and benefits of one work group over and over again? I will never forget the tshirt "An injustice to one is an injustice to all." Evidently injustices to AMTs was and is just fine with them. We AMTs at AA are the lowest paid airline mechanics and the TWU has done this to us.
