AMFA at AA- consolidated thread

How about you stop attacking every post on here and spell out in detail your plan to change what is happening to the AMT profession. What should we do is detail to reverse the decimation? Easy to sit and keystroke attack after attack after attack, but please share with us your solutions?

You got 7061 posts here and you tell me it is easy to sit and keystroke attack after attack? Well you should know shouldn't you?

Yes because you are wrong and I post the facts you call it attacks. Yes I know the spin.

I never said I had a solution to what you want a solution to. But I am sure you with 7061 posts have posted your solution otherwise why would you ask someone a question like that? Hmm could it be to deflect from the truth?

Don't try to play your games with me like you do others on here. It won't work. I know your type

My bad.

Now you can return to the pedantic OCD activity (along with 700UW) of correcting people when they say "US Air" instead of "US Airways."

Yes knowing how the vote is conducted isn't important just like the date to get your cards in. Yup Yup.

As far as 700UW you see he has disappeared from here since I been here...guess why.

Try to understand this.....THERE WIL NOT BE A BALLOT TO WRITE ON. It will be telephone or internet. Educate AMFA supportors with the correct information and stop giving out false information. READ THE REPRESENTATION MANUAL its there for a reason. Ask AMFA

Telephone and Internet Voting
13.201
Telephone and Internet Voting Instructions
The Instructions consist of the Telephone and Internet Voting
Instructions, and an Access Code
.
It is NMB practice to list
the incumbent,
the applicant,
the intervenor,
the “write-in” option,
and the “no representative” option
in descending order on the Instructions.
If there is no incumbent and more than one applicant, the Investigator will determine the placement of the names.

Mail Ballot Elections

Official NMB Mail Ballots
All ballots must have a non-reproducible NMB seal. Different
colored ballots are used for each election to preserve the integrity
of the election.

NMB I assume determines which method will be used. Either one allows a Write In Option. You probably have to speak your WRITE IN option when prompted by telephone method.

FYI I support AMFA over TWU, IAM and IBT. I want you to win this election. You need to stop slinging BS useless stuff around and stick to the issue at hand which is to win the election if there is one or get on a the merger ballot if there is one. If the IBT wins this election you are probably lost and won't have a merger election because I know for a fact the IBT did submit enough cards vs US's list. (the companies list was around 15 less then the IBT's list and the IBT submitted around 61% of the list) Of course the cards need to be checked by NMB and the IAM can still protest list. God help us if the IBT gets in both US and AA.

Wanna bet? How is this example that includes AMFA and AA?

Doncha think AMFA should have been ready since they already been through this before????

March 12, 2004 a Friday at 15:40pm AMFA presents NMB with apllication and signed authorization cards.

March 15, 2004 a Monday the NMB assigns case number R-6998 and within hours AA presents the NMB with eligibility list and signature samples.

No it's not blown to bits. You never addressed the issue of the record timing of under 6 hours that the company and TWU supplied the NMB with the eligibility list from FW TX to WDC. Yes AMFA has filed before, and yes they do know how to file, but when the company, TWU and the teamsters are all working together to keep AMFA out it was imposible for AMFA to get their documentation to the NMB in time before the collusion was completed by the 3-some party.

I stand corrected there is a mail option still. I apologize to all I offended and will read the Representation Manual cover to cover.

Blown to bits

Please use your energy for something useful instead of crying over spilt milk

If any of you would like to file a complaint with the NMB to possibly start up an investigation, I was told by the director of the NMB to do the following. Email the NMB at [email protected] be professional and courteous and to the point. Here is a couple of phone numbers that I used to get this info.
Larry Gibbons (202)692-5060 Director, Office of Mediation Services.
Donald West (202)692-5050 Public Information Officer.
E-mail them at [email protected]

If I were you guys I would bring to their attention what took place and see if they will look into it. Never know guys, a little effort could go a long way. Hope this helps. Good Luck...

The NMB uses the term "write-in" in its discussions of internet and telephone voting options. Those of us who have already read the manual are simply using the same terms as the NMB.

I'm certain that mechanics can figure out the actual mechanics of voting. The important part is reminding them that they can still vote for AMFA via the write-in option. Whether that write-in is literally written on a paper ballot or spoken or typed in an electronic election.

Are you that simple? Three days to file the list. Within a few hours after case number--------- Never mind I can see you are not going figure it out!!

Yes I am that simple.

AMFA files 20 minutes before the 16:00 deadline for NMB to create a case and have AA respond.
Then on the next business day right after NMB creates the case AA quickly responds with thier list.

It was smart of AMFA to give themselves the weekend and until 16:00 Monday to submit more cards.Too bad it worked against them this time.

Wah Wah Wah. Focus on the positive
