Bin Stretcher I personally agree with you 100%. I think the only issue with all the information we’re receiving is that it’s not really concentrated into one area exactly.

There are multiple perspectives coming from multiple different legitimate and good sources but I think some people have difficulties putting it all together to get the clearest picture.

Not to mention also that the conspiracy theorists out there don’t necessarily believe what they’re reading. Not everything can be simple black and white in their minds.

Agreed. Uptight morons!

In the those 40 yrs were you ever represented by two unions that then became the entity known as an Association. One by the way that was forced upon you. In my 36 years with AA, I have not. Maybe that is a contributing factor.
I'm not a fan of the Association. Very complex to put two different groups deals into a negotiation with a management group who has much of what they want already. I think many of the TWU people have lost a good portion of trust in that we were told we would vote on the Association and then had it shoved upon us. Basically we were lied to, and I don't trust anyone who lies to me. Never seen this kind of stuff in over 30 years.

And yet we stay the course ....cant get everyone to admit where in a mess

I think I’ve read something along this line here before once or twice?

No meetings where I was
Looking back you could almost excuse the lack of communication but not now with all the resources available.People are annoyed cause all the updates are the same, thats not a lack of communication more so it's a lack of progress in the negotiations

Tim one question......
What do we do now????Its obvious negotiations are at a stalemate with no movement in sight. The association has been controversial at best and a complete failure at worst. What are our alternatives
.
there are no alternatives. Until then, i guess the association will just recycle the same boring plays. Prolly throw in some petitions, surveys, a couple rallies, etc.
All I know is that once 1 raid is successful against this miserable iam, im hoping the new union will raid the association. These guys are hopefully on a clock. The new union is doing things right and Im hopeful its leadership will be successful at United stores and a few other campaigns initiating soon.

Yes. Your new Union is totally on fire. Here’s a link for those who haven’t seen it yet.

sorry, thats not it. I helped put together a great constitution and thus far the union is doing fairly well in getting signups for United storekeepers. Alot for them to do yet to just secure an election but they have a great leadership.
If they are successful, Im hoping they can clean this mess here and bring things to a contract vote if your handlers still dont know what they are doing.

Seems to have more takers than a certain petition going around these days.
when you eliminate all the children, wives, neighbors, drunks, there are only 75 employees who signed it. But i think 700 signed it 5 times. At any rate, handing a petition, crying to parker, isnt worth our dues. Management will just recycle into a paper airplane. Our union is dumb. Petitions barely work for non union companies, why would they try a non union tactic here?
Unfortunately, whoever did that webpage is in high school. At least be more professional.

TWU Local 568 MIA.

Our Local's President and Vice-President along with Tom Regan, lead negotiator for The Association, and various representatives of the IAM have been on the ramp, visiting breakrooms, talking to the membership and answering questions since this morning.

Obviously a not well thought out act of desperation by the Association. An Association that was soindly defeated in negotiations wait until you see what we give up.It will be almost criminal considering the company makes billions
