You never vote on anything till you see it in writing. One thing I can say about the SWA situation with AMFA, is everytime within the last two years, AMFA would put something out in an update. The company would send out an email what they were offering. Does Parker and company do that or not? They also say this last email what transpired between the company and the union.- However that's their version just like the union has theirs. It would be a start for American. At least it would be in writing. No more hearsay.

It SHOULD be obvious to all need to read a contract through and thoroughly before casting a vote. There has been MORE info put out about these negotiation than EVER before. I am LUS Fleetwith 40 yrs and our Negotiations were kept hush hush until put out for ratification vote. That's why I don't get all the fuss about lack of information and transparency.
 
Until you back it up with DOCUMENTS proving its positive for ALL, you're still a LIAR!

I'll tell you what, why don't you just allow the membership to review the documents and vote. Let them deterimine if it is a goodie or baddie?

What do we do now????Its obvious negotiations are at a stalemate with no movement in sight.The association has been controversial at best and a complete failure at worst.What are our alternatives

In the those 40 yrs were you ever represented by two unions that then became the entity known as an Association. One by the way that was forced upon you. In my 36 years with AA, I have not. Maybe that is a contributing factor.
 
I would venture a guess that the vast majority on this board don't really give a rat's.... about your opinion on OUR matters.

Actually he went and is going through what we will.Negotiations 101, I welcome his forsight, he is part of the industry working for one of our competitors so what hsppens to him is likely to affect us.Plus he not posting silly videos and he
is here now not 25 years removed from the industry

What negotiations were kept hush hush?Our first contract with Parker people were screaming for information and the IAM was forced to reveal it.the previous contracts were bankruptcy contracts before that the parity plus one contract was 5 years in the making and Chandlee would hold informational meetings

Bin Stretcher I personally agree with you 100%. I think the only issue with all the information we’re receiving is that it’s not really concentrated into one area exactly.

There are multiple perspectives coming from multiple different legitimate and good sources but I think some people have difficulties putting it all together to get the clearest picture.

Not to mention also that the conspiracy theorists out there don’t necessarily believe what they’re reading. Not everything can be simple black and white in their minds.

Why the hell would I have documents? I'm not the one making a claim I do! It's liars like you that I don't trust for information. PROVE yourself not a liar.

No. This is a first for me as well. I just don't get my panties in a wad because I know some of these guys of the NC and trust them to fight my battles. No issues with the association what so ever.
