You may be just a little overly sensitive? I engage you because I genuinely like you and value what you have to say here. I believe sincerely that you may be one of the boards most prolific and insightful participants.

No one will lose their job the wave of retirees will fill the 2200 amt's, this piece of sh-t ASSociation says we will lose......

Maintenance Facilities will be outsourced has needed I am ok with that. Currently in many AA areas maintenance facilities takes forever to do their job.

Fleet service not going there, they will vote it in.......

Gary Peterson and Alex combined have an IQ of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez....

We knew what AA wanted for scope and medical 4 years ago.

That line kills me.
fighting to take away our security and rights to better shifts or days off

It looks like we are at an impasse, the association should ask to be released.

We always could have just sunk like Eastern and Pan Am did if you would have preferred?

So it was ok for lawyers, accountants and actuaries to advise and consent on past concessionary contracts to stave off liquidation. What if those same lawyers, accountants and actuaries were to advise the union to accept what the company wants or risk another bankruptcy?

The Association has done nothing wrong...all they are doing is fighting for its members...if u had their retirement, benefits, especially medical...would u give it up to switch to TWU's...hell no...so it's the TWU that should've represented us better during the merger and demanded a benefit match to what US Air had... considering we have the worst benefits in the industry....thanks TWU

Get the last best offer from AA let membership vote, if we vote down we would be ready for self help right before busy summer. As it stands now we wait a month, talk a week, wait a month, talk a week, wait a month.

This way association and company would be in the clear and membership would have a say in our destiny.

I’m not sure why association will not let membership decide on anything. If we vote down contract offer the association will have a clear path forward. Current association dues payers should have their voices heard.

I bet if AA mechs did a sickout or refuse field trips. DFW mechs would be right there taking OT and field trips.

Why would you do that?

Your not in bankruptcy, and you can’t use self-help unless the board declares an impasse and release you into a 30 day cooling off period.

You’ve only been in Section 6 a short time, for that reason and having a Republican Administration, you’ll never get released. AMFA is in seven years in negotiations.
