I see AMP is becoming an issue to contend with!

That’s why I ate crow Metal cause if it was up to me my suggestion was to completely ignore this new distraction and finish the JCBA talks and this will fade away just like it did in 2014. And I really thought that’s what they would do.

Unfortunately others don’t see things the same way I do obviously.

You are probably right its just the frustration rate is so high with some, understandably so

Well if that’s the case then I guess we should say that F&H, Jerry Glass and the Company win if frustrations are actually getting the better of some people.

Too bad I guess.

Though I wish the mechs the best, I think the Associations biggest threat may very well be Tim's next video. No dues money no conventions and private jets

its time to vote on the offer. If it sucks it should be voted down, but voting prior to section 6 is reasonable.
yes..trying to get tim to say it and also get into the vicinity of what the TOS will be.

2% a year will take us near $37/hr TOS, $39+/hr for c/c...this surpasses my wage expectations and takes a big enough bite out of dl's profit sharing for me to be more than content.

aa is committed to spending an additional $1.7 BILLION on buybacks, now-2020. to get all on lus/iam insurance, it would cost aa $39 million a year x 5 years..apprx. $200 million.

right there, nothing is more clear as to whom aa's priority is. the shareholder over the employee...this, after aa has already spent over $12 BILLION in 4 years on buy-backs and dividends.

shareholder value.
i dont get the language but was told $33. I didnt take that to mean at the end. Nor did i get any impression that money was an issue.

And what if JCBA talks go on for another year? Two? Three? Should we just sit back and watch useless videos and read repetitive updates endlessly?
Many of us have had it with the ASSociation. The ASSociation we had no say in....

Before the cuts in 03 we used to have it in our contract that if you were off on the Holiday you would get the Holliday (2 1/2) on your first day back to work.

You could even Swap the Holiday off and you would still get paid on first day back. That’s why back then the going rate for someone to work a premium Holiday for you was $100 cash.
speakin of swaps, LAA would have been better if in contract.

its time to vote. If its a bad deal, it should be voted down. But i think any deal will pass strongly. People get what they deserve.

Exactly, how should your card drive effect negotiations other than speeding it up I strongly doubt it does anything to contract content and language,at least it shouldnt. The Ass hould be trying to avoid section 6

the letter was legally inaccurate regarding several items. I will mention 2 below.
1. NMB didnt establish the Association. It didnt pick the association. I certified the association after the twu and iam, AND the company voluntarily recognized it. Gary Peterson challenged it arguing that the nmb couldnt establish the association but the nmb dismissed his dispute and ruled that the iam and twu themselves had the right.

2. Javits decision had nothing to do with the MBA. In fact, the MBA was never triggered due to the exception clause.
Further, although Javitz does arbitrate, his capacity wasnt arbitration. He was hired and paid as a consultant. His decision wasnt binding. It was a recommendation that the fake seniority team approved.

While I understand the intention behind the letter, personally I think it was a very dumb move again to acknowledge the distraction. Sorry Metal.

the video will explain the dues objection process. Actually i just found out its a 29% savings. Hell, i thought id only be saving $10 a month. When the iam hands over my single health care, ill actually save over $22. Im goin to use that to help subsidize half my healthcare bump
Not bad.

700 is your concern Tim as I haven’t responded to that thread talking about you since you did the right thing and stopped talking about me on yours.
