Did you hand them your signed A-Cards?You fix ‘em a plate for their trip?
The Judge did decide. 17%.
It's called "subsidizing" and this union (asso.) loves doing it and has done it for decades.Typical ATD rhetoric
27 years under the twu and I have been given
27 years of concessionary contract after concessionary contract. This isnt a union its a scam of stealing from one title group to keep the other title title group no matter what the cost to our medical vacation holidays sick time or pay.
If this company was smart they would bankrupt this union and send them packing. We would be better off with anything other than this unelected bunch of thieves.
27 years unbelievable
I cant wait to see what concessions we will be forced to swallow this time around
Keep up the great work.....
No members decided on shite! And you know this. No mechanics and no fleet decided nothing. It was all decided for them by the TWU at the time of BK and slammed down their throats just like all other changes to their contracts. The givebacks in bankruptcy were up to the groups. We needed to give back 17%, the math to get there was made by the individual groups.
Fleet decided, for example, to keep 100% SK pay on first day. AMT's decided on 50%.
Wrong again there skippy. Boy, somebody had to take the weezal boys place on here didn't they? The givebacks in bankruptcy were up to the groups. We needed to give back 17%, the math to get there was made by the individual groups.

I dont recall having a say in anything.
Kind of like current negotiations. No input, no information. No idea whats going on. Just rumors. And more rumors. I was.hoping the company would come out with some information.
Who decided? Wasn't the membership. It was all Jim Little back in 2003. Get your real facts straight and stop thinking the TWU is a real Democratic union that puts the membership first and its financial survival second.
You are so easy!!!He's quite delusional ain't he?
Wow! you are so brainwashed that it's pathetically sad how uninformed you are and your an employee and a member of this fiasco asso. The Judge did decide. 17%.
C'mon Man!!!That is complete BS, if there was any math, it was done for the benefit of the International to maintain headcount. Benefits do not mean a thing to the international because the international gets nothing out of them. So they chose to maintain headcount, and a year later those heads were chopped anyway. We were duped by that sawed off, POS with the mail order college degree: Jim Little. Fact is, we would have done much better, had we let a judge decide how much, and how long our concessions were to be. The creativity the TWU showed in finding ways to screw us knew no bounds. That is unforgivable, and will never be forgotten.
Now we are witnessing another scam being perpetrated on both memberships by allowing the Association to bake the fine into our contract without a fight. Why belong to such a weak organization? It really is pathetic: if not, embarrassing.
That's correct and it's been that way before the Dysfunctional Association came in existence. It's called "subsidizing" and this union (asso.) loves doing it and has done it for decades.
The membership decided nothing, jim little and don vidavitch did the deciding. They way the cuts were negotiated were very similar to the way the associatiin was negotiated. I think they sat at the table and told the company and the iam this is what we have, how much do you want of it?The givebacks in bankruptcy were up to the groups. We needed to give back 17%, the math to get there was made by the individual groups.

Jim Little pretty much did. Again we had no say with the threats of BK.
There was no judge involved.
No members decided on shite! And you know this. No mechanics and no fleet decided nothing. It was all decided for them by the TWU at the time of BK and slammed down their throats just like all other changes to their contracts.
BTW my previous was not wrong either. Pretty sad when an outsider has more info than AA employees isn't it?
They have to have at least the appearance that they are includedThat’s nice, more drinks and a nice hotel stay.
But it means nothing as far as an agreement

Ok? And we can ecpect aThe rest of the committees flew to DCA yesterday and today.
did the presidents decide on the options that jim little and don vidivitch supplied, or where they told we are ordered to give up 17% how do you want to do it? i have from very good sources that the company at that time was surprised at what the twu was willing to give back. in fact they offered thing that were never asked for.The President's decided. The Line President's were livid with Tulsa and Zimmerman teaming up. It left the other Line Locals in the minority. That's when Bob Owens was advocating for a single Line Local, so their votes couldn't be split.
