Really??
If everyone followed the safety guidelines that the company can and has disciplined people for not following, you actually think a injunction could happen?
Ok. Won’t argue with that logic.
Let me back up here ,you do realize i hope we are successful in getting everything we want without concessions.Im just skeptical thats all

Wow. I thought you had some time with the company?? You have to be told what to do?

I see company safety violations being done every day on pretty much every flight. We don’t even work by the company’s safety guidelines they ask us to follow.
The point has been made gentlemen! Pull the trigger as we did. Start parking them boys...

Hey CB. We did it and we got our offer finally. Hope you guys can do the same brother and rise above us. Good luck and get er done...

Nothing personal taken but i think your wrong most IAM are scared of losing medical and quite franky, speaking of fleet never dreamed they would be making $30.81.I think rat will give you an honest answer PI not so sure

Al did you know that on the LAA side from where we were back in 2003 on wages if you add up 2% per year from that year each year forward to 2016 it almost exactly equals out to $30.00 per hour.

All the Company did was finally snap us back to where we should have been all along and nothing more. They didn’t give us any prize.

On the other items they’ve offered they’re only offering back items we already used to have and not even offering everything back.

How can anyone know what you really want Al when you think everything’s just a joke.

So you think im the only on in the IAM who feels this way rather wait out with existing insurance? You yourself pointed out im songlevso even if we went to AA no big thing for me

There it is in a nutshell boys and girls. The LUS side is good with riding this out indefinitely. The LAA side is losing out everyday. The formation of this association doomed the TWU represented folks and handed the company a divided workforce. The AFL-CIO did the dirty work for the company and didn't care. They preserved what was really important to todays unions...dues. We are on pace to blow right past the SWA negotiations mark of 6.5 years. "United we stand, divided we fall" right? Well we are a divided workforce thanks to the greed of the afl-cio.

I talk with the LUS mechs quite often and they are great guys, but they prefer not get a contract for years.

I on the other hand would love to see the Association broken. If I get screwed by AA at least they're paying me, unlike the association I have to pay to screw me.

ONE UNION ONE VOICE!!!!!!! remember that BS!

Bottom line if we want a contract we're going to have to give something up.Thats it

What they want to take is jobs from OH and some line work.........we are a huge company and fly all over the world, I don't think it's ridicules to not to expect to have an AA mech at every airport with 24/7 coverage.

The 787 can go 12 years with a heavy check and all the other planes have longer intervals between maint another reason not to have OH staffed at 90s levels. Unless you're a libtard and you go by market rates, OH mechs make $25 an hour AA pays $45 an hour and AA is still going to have the least amount of outsourcing.

Don't think you know the LUS guys work and use their experience to keep the airline moving like they are employees that are appreciated. We are not a unified group ALL getting the pipe.

Of course you’re not the only one who feels that way. On the IAM Fleet side they really aren’t offering you guys enough to feel any tugs to get things done. I gave you that list the other day how a single guy like you would make gains though.

If the Cadillac Tax goes into effect one day that insurance is toast anyway. Your boy the kook has pointed that out. Oh and he says this too BTW.

HUH?

Yeah like they knew something that Boeing just found out.I said the pilots union was more qualified to make that decision than the flight attendants.Ill stand by that

The Mechanics know more about those systems than the Pilots do and the President of the largest Represented Maintenance Group in the Airline Industry was calling it for the very problem that Boeing now absolutely admits it was.
