But why does it take you to lose anything to make you want to fight? Why doesn’t knowing the fact that they still want to take from your 2014 agreement as the fifth largest carrier enough to make us fight?
Waiting until you lose something to fight is too late!! You’ve already lost at that point. Company doesn’t care how pissed you are then.
Fight? Whats the weapon??

we are a divided workforce thanks to the greed of the afl-cio.
Divided yes... divided by corporate trolls, and anti-union loyalist... not the afl-cio. And, it's GREED alright ... but more along the lines of quarterly capitalist, and wall street. The company's concessionary stance is clearly to make the stock holders more confident... https://www.cnbc.com/2019/04/04/options-traders-think-one-airline-stock-may-be-about-to-surge.html

Parker made over 19.2 million on stock compensation in 2018... the higher the stock goes... the more they make!

Concessions are ridiculous in this environment. And the Company should have gotten all they needed through all their Bankruptcy Court visits already.
They want us to be competitive with UA and DL look at UA contract it will give you an idea of what they want

Wow. I thought you had some time with the company?? You have to be told what to do?

I see company safety violations being done every day on pretty much every flight. We don’t even work by the company’s safety guidelines they ask us to follow.

I don’t ever want to read ANY of you guys say how the guys (TWU) of the past screwed you. You’re all FOS cause here you are today ready to keep the screwing going right on down the line.

Maybe management at the TWU should of thought about that years and years ago.

There it is in a nutshell boys and girls. The LUS side is good with riding this out indefinitely. The LAA side is losing out everyday. The formation of this association doomed the TWU represented folks and handed the company a divided workforce. The AFL-CIO did the dirty work for the company and didn't care. They preserved what was really important to todays unions...dues. We are on pace to blow right past the SWA negotiations mark of 6.5 years. "United we stand, divided we fall" right? Well we are a divided workforce thanks to the greed of the afl-cio.

Nothing personal to Al with this comment but it is the truth.

Al is a single guy who has no wife or children and lives in a house that his Parents finished paying for years ago.

I wouldn’t personally consider him to be a great gauge on the entire collective.

I’m well aware of what they really want. Management always wants. They never just willingly give no matter how much they have.

I’m sure many of them are dead just like you and I will be some day as well.

Hope we don’t pass any of our bitterness on to the next generation.

I honestly think of “some” of my coworkers as a Cancer with what’s left inside of them.

Absolutely not. Ask some DFW people about Crew Chief Richie Lay. They’ve been trying for a lifetime to get that guy and they can’t do crap because he is always 100% by the book.

Many asked him to run for Local President and it’s just not what he wants.

Really??
If everyone followed the safety guidelines that the company can and has disciplined people for not following, you actually think a injunction could happen?
Ok. Won’t argue with that logic.

Dear Comrade it was the AFL-CIO that pushed for this unelected, illegitimate association that nobody wanted. They served up a divided membership on a silver platter.
