You lost your sense of humor you changed. Nothing personal its not a dig its my observation

No. You joke around non stop like a bad Henny Youngman.

And unlike you I guess I don’t think my profession should be the butt of your constant jokes no.

I got to tell ya weez, I thinking Tim just might be right on this one. What better way to tell the company their offer stinks, but to put it out for a vote. No better way to read the barometer of the membership than that. On the flip side, the one phrase YOU mentioned a very long time ago, "Force majeure". so far no one has caught on yet.

We do need to be solidarity but i dont see it happening w few posters on here w their posts but i cld be wrong. When is enough is enough w give backs? 22 yrs for me n im flippin sick of giving giving givin . D.P. stated we deserve industry leading deals .He needs to eat those words

Yea this airline is unbelievable. Wants to still take from contracts that’s either as the fifth largest carrier, or a bankrupt agreement. Still taking while raking in billions.
But you recommended the United contract. Isn't that unbelievable that you would do that when it wiped out UA health care for thousands and eliminated the part time cap and puts a drop dead date on another 2 dozen stations and express jobs?
Isn't that a fair question I asked? That's why I call you a phony, because your actions have never ever backed up what you say.

That said, isn't the contract that Parker offered a industry leading Total contract when compared to Delta and United? If not, Parker plainly said he would sign the United contract all over again for you. You recommended it once, why wouldn't you recommend it again?

Nothing personal taken but i think your wrong most IAM are scared of losing medical and quite franky, speaking of fleet never dreamed they would be making $30.81.I think rat will give you an honest answer PI not so sure

I think it’s fair to say that none of us (at any carrier) would’ve thought we’d be north of $30...

He’s addicted to the dopamine rush of seeing people react/comment on his posts.

He’s also probably having a tough time reconciling what his people are making him post with how he really feels. Personally, I’d just like to see a return to Mustang pics and and a happier Dave.

I asked before, but I wonder if CB realized he was inadvertently F’ing over not only UA peeps, but also OAL workers-including those he represents- when he signed off on that?

Actually Al if you look again my list is pretty selective. Aside from Tim it’s all posters who don’t work for AA who think they’re constant two cents here is supposed to mean something. They’re not worth me entertaining anymore honestly.

And Tim (No vote, no say) just mostly pollutes the Board with nonsense, pretty much like you do most of the time as well. But I’m still stupid enough to have hope with you.

Dear Comrade it was the AFL-CIO that pushed for this unelected, illegitimate association that nobody wanted. They served up a divided membership on a silver platter.
Dude... it was the COMPANY(S) that decided to merge, the AFL-CIO elected to prevent the same from circumventing the two elected represented groups by leaving the membership possibly UNREPRESENTED, and at will!

I'll bet guys like Tim would have loved for to have happened. That is crux of all of these "We didn't get vote" arguments, and that is to make the unions the big bad boogie man...

The current DIVIDE AND CONQUER campaigning is not working!

Maybe eventually it will come to putting something to a vote Bob? First the Company has to get to the point where they declare they’ve given their final offer which is something they haven’t done yet. If they ask to be released from Mediation that could also mean they no longer intend to negotiate.

You don’t understand how “Force Majeure” works. It’s not used simply to make wholesale and or permanent changes in any collective bargaining agreements.

In 2001 the Company used it because people just shut down and stopped flying. But it was used mainly to be able to lay people off or move them by seniority without having to pay the $12,500 penalty. Nothing more than that.

The company merging had zero to do with the memberships choice of representation. A choice we were denied by the quick footed back stabbing AFL-CIO aided by the NMB. The use of long ago signed dues check off cards was a scam to protect the coffers of these two 'unions". If I registered as a democrat 30 years ago, does that give the party the right to mark me down as voting in their favor in every election going forward? No, of course not. So why would a dues check off card from 30 years ago have any weight or bearing on my choice TODAY? It was and is a scam to protect the union cash cow. It has done irreparable harm to this membership.

Correct. The main reasoning behind forming the Association was supposedly to prevent any animosity had the TWU pulled the trigger and filed to represent the entire Membership. Plus of course the IAM losing a Membership they had been representing since 1995 and 1946 due to another Airline merger outside their control.

The AFL/CIO was not interested in observing another scenario like the one that happened after TWA where a lot of animosity unfortunately still exists to this day between people in both Unions.

Weez the animosity from the TWA ACQUISITION is NOTHING compared to what is to come in this association. Imho we will never recover from this debacle.

The IAM will come up with all sorts of excuses to justify their existence at NAA.

We all know where they should be!
