Click here For america west interview exb717 had when heshe was hired three years ago

What is the average f/o pay rate for years of service and the average captain rate years of service, anyone know?

america west pay rates listed as 2005 on web site

Ok Nos...you got me. I couldn't stop laughing after the first line of interview observations :

"No more sim eval!!"

Gosh..those darn simulator evals certainly are always such a thorn in the side of competent pilots. Better give that boy a left seat on an at least a 767 immediately

So what? Let ALPO present the list. Parker and Kirby have come out on the record stating they don't think the list if fair. Remember the "lottery ticket" analogy from Kirby? They get what you HP guys don't get: They realize where the revenue butter is spread at this airline and it's not west of the Mississippi. You piss off the majority of the pilots in the money-making part of the airline you're a moron. Parker and Kirby aren't the morons a group of pilots out west are.

Eye;
I suspect that one of the reasons that your the big "money-making part" of the airline is your terrific LOA 93. So with regard to phrase in bold above; when your date tells you that you are the smartest, most handsome person that they have ever met, do you believe that too??

What I find interesting in my freqent jump seat travels, is that there is a silent majority out there. When a contract with serious money is proffered, the vote will follow the purse strings.

cactusboy an f/o at usairways makes more than you now, did you tell them that in your "fregent" jump seats from Springfield, MO.?

If they're a "silent majority"...how do you even pretend to know what they're thinking? Let me guess here...there's some secret vast "underground" out east that seeks out every opportunity to confess their dissatisfaction with their comrades to the first young AWA jumpseater that shows up ;) I've no doubt that they even beg you to permanently take their seats from them in exchange for some ephemeral contract that can blow away in an instant. What I find interesting is the evidently commonly held west fantasy that everyone's principles and beliefs are so easilly, and instantly for sale...kinda' speaks volumes about your own philosophy.

In any case: If you're holding your breath awaiting some "great contract" from Alpo.....well..words just fail me. Managements throughout the industry pretty much just laugh at those guys.

Hope you east boys enjoy your new merger assessment for the next two years, stop ^%%$$#% around and wasting your money. ;)

That's an ALPA merger assessment, so you mean another two months, right?

No, I mean 24 months at .15 percent, check the board. *********"In order to continue with our litigation and other merger-related expenses for the protection of our pilots, the US Airways MEC, in accordance with ALPA’s Constitution and By-Laws, has voted to assess each US Airways pilot .15% of duesable income per month for 24 months."*****

Alpo's soon to be history...so what's your point? Have you some fantasy that everyone's lining up to pay any Alpo asessment? ;) you folks out west truly just do not understand what's going on out east. I completely agree that all out east should stop wasting their money.......and no greater waste of money has existed than Alpo.

EastUS,
They don't understand a lot of things. They just get dumber by the day.

No, Just reporting the news. What I (or you) think is irrelevant.

"...stop ^%%$$#% around and wasting your money" That's "news"? Let's agree that what either of us individually thinks is indeed irrelevant..what our respective groups think isn't.

The only possible reason for any rational east person to pony up a penny to ALpo is to maintain "good standing" and voting rights...untill those fools can be gotten rid of.

Agreed- looking through this, it appears as just a way to discourage people from voting ALPA. Take it as you may though.....
