I understand. You're good union boy who does whatever the leadership tells you to do. Don't dare question their decisions made on your behalf. Hell, why don't you forfeit your right to vote even on a contract and let the leaders control your fate as well.
I've given my fair share of criticism but unlike you it seems I'm not going to criticize everything or look for things to criticize because I don't like them and want another alternative.
And this is not about a "write in" choice....
This is simply about a democratic process of YES or NO to the association.
I would have been and have said I'd be fine with Association, TWU' or IAM but that's not whats going to be on the ballot. The ballot will be Association, No Union and write in option. Take out the No Union option and I would love for it to be on my desk.
BTW..I mentioned "fools" and you were the first one to defend your position. I didn't mention anyone's name.
Being called a fool by a nameless faceless blogger really doesn't concern me. And I'm only a fool because you want AMFA and everything and anything that helps you in that area is extremely welcome.
Once again...........You don't want a vote when clearly it states we will vote?
Don't want a vote that has a No Union option on the ballot that I can't control the outcome of. I don't need to play with that kind of fire.
- Q: Will I have the opportunity to vote on whether or not I am represented by the Association?
A: Yes. Following the completion of the American – US Airways’ merger, the Associations will file representation applications with the National Mediation Board (NMB), a federal agency, which will culminate in three separate elections, one for each of the Mechanic & Related, Fleet Service and Stores classifications. You will vote in the election of the classification in which you work with others from both carriers.
