bob@las-AA said:You could say that, but I have never viewed any of you posts till now. so how could you say "As usual", that is a term used for frequent users of this site. According to the restructured contract in 2003 top out pay was $19.65, but as far as a diminished job? not sure what you are trying to get across but, yes with only close to 7 years seniority, yes this is the most gravy job I had ever had. And it look like back in the day all you slugs had it even sweeter, now that reality has hit home and the endless fountain of cash is now spewing vinegar, all you can do is cry "Dump the TWU". Well I can say I'm no fan of the TWU or any Union, after working under one for half of my adult life. New York IBEW Local 83. Big deal you got a pay cut in 2003, Suck it up and adapt, even if it means you have give that lavish lift style from all that misbegotten and fraudulent Over Time most of you have been licking up like little kittens with a plate of milk........"More Milk Please". All of you should be grateful you still have a job!
That does not make him special. TWU is plagued with incompetent people that could not hold a job outside of a UNION.Zom JFK said:Lucky to have a job indeed. In your case however I think that statement could not be more true.
I guess he figured out the best thing he could do is shut up.bob@las-AA said:Your next, But for now I will save it for Tuesday 20, 2015
The international was obviously thinking they would have a larger pool of employees to collect dues from. Who cares if they can make a living or have benefits. They can PAY to work..... that is the important thing. Isn't it?ograc said:And the sun goes down on the coconut tree. Restart to Fleet Service issues. Anyone following the announced 2015 bloodletting and outsourcing of represented jobs at UA? 28 more stations to be outsourced by May of 2015. Contractually allowed to happen with no part time cap. What was the International, District Leadership, NC and membership thinking when they agreed to such terms?
I don't know if you are native AA or not robbed but if you are I would not be so uppity after the contracts/concessions AA/TWU has sold the membership since 9/11.robbedagain said:or the better question is WTF were they smoking if they weren't already high enough to come to such outrageous ugliness POS contract like that...
robbedagain said:La Li Im PMUS we've had our own nasty contracts and the likes.. I do work along side few of the AA folks who really despise the TWU and the crappy contracts they negogiated.
From what I hear thru the grapevine, some stations have been having second meetings at WHQ in Chicago. All will know their fate by this weekend. More than likely all will be gone. No one is going to take pay and benefit cuts.ograc said:And the sun goes down on the coconut tree. Restart to Fleet Service issues. So they threatened bankruptcy then did it anyway........... how did that work out for the TWU membership?WeAAsles said:Robbed lest we should ever forget. One contract was negotiated as concessionary at the threat of a BK gun and the next was concessionary by the trigger being pulled on that gun.
Then why is TWU still on AA property at TULE?WeAAsles said:I don't think anyone would be too happy being FORCED to go backwards.
