2015 Fleet Service Discussion

WeAAsles the minute it got out that the TWU international told the membership it did not matter what THEY wanted because international owned the contract..... that should have been the beginning of the end of the TWU

I'll be damned if I would support a UNION that went against membership votes claiming it was "in their best interest".

Anybody what would support TWU after that is a fool.

Gone over now far too many times to count and will not repeat it again for the likes of you. That's something that you can count on.

all I know is the TWU,s dragging their feet in getting an NC together is to put it mildly pathetic

thks mike that's all well and good but it doesnt address the rogue TWU locals filing lawsuits because they do not want to abide by the contract their International signed.
I'm no IAM pom pom waver but the TWU hasn't impressed me so far
Rat...the TWU doesn't have enough $$ to go to court and lose...They would go bankrupt....i think you will see the line of decention narrowing rather quickly now.

Watch out Mike those mechanics on those other threads are looking to sue everybody. Stay out of their way man. They got the scales of justice and are looking for some vindication.

The fools are also the ones who don't want a vote for the association either. "Yes, boss whatever you say."

Because unlike you I don't have a preferred "write in" choice. I came into this job with a Union and I want to leave with one as well. I unlike you don't want a ballot on my desk that could possible take away some thing I find very precious. That's being in a Union. I don't need it even on my desk.

PSA TEAMSTERS . The good old days Brother. TY for the memories  . The ASSOCIATION is a done deal . No election is my bet. Why ? AMFA has left the station . Be safe ! Fish On !

I understand. You're good union boy who does whatever the leadership tells you to do. Don't dare question their decisions made on your behalf. Hell, why don't you forfeit your right to vote even on a contract and let the leaders control your fate as well.

And this is not about a "write in" choice....
This is simply about a democratic process of YES or NO to the association.

BTW..I mentioned "fools" and you were the first one to defend your position. I didn't mention anyone's name.

Once again...........You don't want a vote when clearly it states we will vote?

  1. Q: Will I have the opportunity to vote on whether or not I am represented by the Association?
A: Yes. Following the completion of the American – US Airways’ merger, the Associations will file representation applications with the National Mediation Board (NMB), a federal agency, which will culminate in three separate elections, one for each of the Mechanic & Related, Fleet Service and Stores classifications. You will vote in the election of the classification in which you work with others from both carriers.

Interpret as you may but i believe that the answer was a down the road answer with minimal explanation for a reason.......The Associations will file . A little deceptive yes! ..JMO !
