2015 AMT Discussion

no excuse to not work 7 days a week.......all of the people they are supposedly representing work 24/7 including holidays. they are working for you 1 week a month, m-f, and holidays off?!?!?!?!?!  QUIT STALLING!!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE HURTING ONLY YOUR MEMBERSHIP!!!!
i didn't think it was possible for our work environment attitude to get worse than the bk, but it is still going south, and picking up speed!

I agree the ass. Needs to get off there ass. They should work 24/7 to get this BS resolved. Why do we pay someone to just keep screwing us over!

What does AA passenger service agents have to do with pausing IBT's technician negotiations??
exactly what I was wondering

Sounds like IBT and UA potential TA was DL rates + ??? (AA CWA offer DL incl 14.5% plus 3%) The Association stall is strategic! They are waiting for IBT UA to settle and pass a TA then we will go for UA+??? which will be higher than DL+3%.

The Association is brilliant!!! Just brilliant!!!

Sorry to stick my nose in for just a second. Nice to have you back.

Funny how the union shops are trying to keep up with the non-union shop. Here we are with the largest company, largest union and we are the lowest paid.

Time for the association and the afl-cio to step up!!!!!!!!!

They should accomplish more then collecting dues and making promises they can't keep, I e AFW MCI, and all the other jobs and pay we have lost through the years.

Maybe don't get into to big of a hurry.  I do remember Parker telling you guys it will be Delta plus 7 or United, which ever is higher.  UAL is claiming industry leading offer, but at what time is the big question.

United Airlines and maintenance workers' union pause contract talks

thats why the ass needs to put in the contract that we will match the highest payed airline when they get a raise are contract . But I don't think the ass would do that.

Now that we have the strategy we could be a little more patient and forgiving.

This is not like buying the latest smartphone. You just keep waiting because a better one is just around the corner. If the association had any clout they would negotiate me too pay increases for the duration of the agreement. In the meantime we lose unrecoverable money as each day moves on by.

Yup. And the international really does not care one way or the other. They get paid regardless

Didn't DLS F/A rates go up while our F/As had a tentative and Parker matched them?. My point, its going to take months for a TA, perhaps UA  will settle in the meantime and their rates can be applied
