2015 AMT Discussion

Word came down from the International that a proposal will be out by the end of the first week of November. Anyone else hear anything similar?

Question....... Once the joint committee sends up its contract proposal to the ASS. Men
for their approval, will they have the opportunity to see any changes made before it is
taken to the company? And at any time will the unwashed get a peek at the ASS. proposal?

Just in time to send the Company our proposal for them to sit on it tell after the Holidays with no response. This crap should have been done months ago. What a joke.

C1,
You know as well as I do, in their (the Ass/international)eyes, we're not worthy.
More than anything else, I don't believe they want us digesting the prospects of being forced into the IAMNPF until they absolutely have to.

I expect to see something similar to what United sent out.
Yes , a big raise, but... Many things that shouldn't be there, but will be.

Could be BS because they have been getting bombarded with email and phone calls regarding the lack of progress hoping we will stop complaining and criticizing.
But miracles do happen.

I heard something similar but that the exchange of proposals would be more to show that they opened talks. No substantative bargaining will occur during the holiday season. There will be Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Festivus, and other holidays I missed so no talks in December.

Industry Leading Contract 2016!!! It's coming! Get ready for riches!

We need to give the association a ultimatum negotiate are we are not going to take it any more every association member not pay dues I know they have fired people individuals but how are they going to fire all amts fleet service stores etc until they bring a industry leading contract then the association will learn accountability to the members . We the members and the members way back gave the association to much power by not having elections for the Intl president etc . We the members need to stop this it's time we start telling the association who our hard working money pays the dues to make it for the members. Even if like I said stop paying dues until they listen to us and rewrite the constitution to the way we want it and vote on it And bring back contracts with what we want not what the association wants

Company has no choice but to follow the CBA, dude are a condition of employment.

How is your wife and family going to react to say hey I got fired becuase I didn't pay dues.

I am hearing that there is a meeting of all the heads of state of the Union/ASS. in Washington on Nov. 9th. Can anyone confirm?
