Funny, when you keep warning us about how bad our lawyers are it sure seems like you care.  My bad.

If someone repeatedly observes that a group of people willing pay $675 for a $20 Liberty Necktie... and said "tie people" express a belief that they themselves are fearsome dire wolves in an army... Well, the repeated comments could be mournful tears expressing financial concern... or maybe the comments are just astonished laughter (laughter that isn't rooted in astonishment so much anymore).

"$675 for a $20 Liberty Necktie:...?  I take exception only to the unreasonable assumption that said ties could successfully be sold in batch lots anywhere outside of "sparta" for $20, and thus, your valuation of the product sir. ;)

Learn what? Every move your side made was anticipated. It's of no concern.

That certainly goes a long way to explain the west's string of landmark legal triumphs, as well as your current condition, of course.  I'll admit that from observing the last 7+ years, that it comes as a bit of a surprise to now realize "you'se" have always had the evil east just where you wanted us. I see now that all your lost lawsuits were merely distracting feints to brilliantly maneuver us all into a sad corner of unprecedented upgrades and progression, and who could doubt that your patiently engineered, final and utterly devastating blow will land any second now...right? I'll confess that your graciously allowing one year upgrades for new hires to the left seat, as well as denying yourselves wide bodies and limiting your world to PHX did lull us all into a vulnerable state. Kudos mighty "spartan", since I've never seen a more impressive display of both tactical and strategic brilliance in my entire life.

I believe that the APA will let the west's fate be determined by the Preliminary Arbitration panel.
If the west isn't granted standing for a MC, the game is over.
The APA and USAPA MCs will agree to a SLI out of arbitration and the west will be screwed.

Everything hinges on the decision of Preliminary Arbitration panel for the west.
Everything.

The west cant come back and argue against an arbitration ruling. Not after 7 years of claiming integrity matters and arbitration is final and binding.

The west better bring their "A" game to the Preliminary Arbitration.

Fairly savvy observations on your part WM.  I'd think the APA's both covering themselves and advancing fantasies-to-the-foolish of "good will" for political purposes at this point. It's perhaps politically better to play Pontius Pilate and wash one's hands, rather than confront an angry mob. "Hey kids...we'd have loved to give you a seat, but those mean arbitrators...you know how it is. But we really care!...Honest! Heck!...We'd like nothing more in this world than to ensure you get your nic and have hundreds of AWA numb-nuts placed forever ahead of our own people!...Now stand by as we do our utmost to staple you to the bottom of our list...idiots."

Your turn is coming. Hence all the angst from you scabs. No one will buy them and your lot will be cast in stone. That's clearly worrying you scabs. It should.

Umm....Yeah...OK, whatever you say son, but seriously? I can count on one hand, with digits remaining free, the years I've at best left in this industry. Just what "angst" or "worry" could you possibly even imagine your little PHX group of supposed "spartans" offers me under ANY circumstances?  I've yet to find a mighty "spartan" that will even accept a recreational flying wager. ;) No matter. You've my proper and honest sympathy for your delusional condition son. The world's admittedly, sometimes a very harsh, sharp-edged and deadly place, but more often a wonderful adventure...should your head ever pop outta' "you'se" arse and you manage to find some/any validation outside of your angry little mirror. You might want to at least try for that. I'd strongly suggest you prepare your "righteous"/Fantasyland self for never seeing any absurdly inflated, faux "seniority" handed to you for no reason, lest you pop a major blood vessel as things unfold. Good luck with your sad fantasies and your "life" in general.

The APA will bring their "A game" to secure the West a seat...

Just like Judge Silver cried them a river of sympathy before she stamped their forehead with "not entitled" and kicked them out of her court, the APA will wail at the injustice even though they probably already have a negotiated SLI 95% completed with USAPA.  It will be an awe inspiring performance.
Right on the money!

The anger issues really got the FBI dialed in on you.

Actually, the number is between $200 and $32,000.  The named plaintiffs actually got somewhere between 50k and 100k, I don't remember exactly.

The actual number is roughly $15,000 each.  Not a bad take....but they are still stuck with their seniority at AAL.  The West really sued the wrong guys.  ALPA merger policy was the one that promised "final and binding".  You might have gotten more from them.  You guys keep wallowing in that self-pity and fantasy of USAPA will pay.

Well, so far, what have they done for you....short of telling you you're right but we can't win it in court?

There it is!  West debate and logic.  I'd talk to you in your language but....it's just so much funnier when YOU do it!
