I think its great! I always wave and say "Hi" to the Liberty Tie guys. They are furthering the cause which keeps them on the island in PHX for a longer period of time and keeps us on the east moving up the list. Those ties are great! Long live the tie!! The Nic is dead and gone, they just don't know it yet. btw, I always seem to get a puzzled look when I wave at them, smile.. say "Hi".. try it, its amusing as well.

Totally agree.....and you forgot to mention how ugly they look, I mean, not just what they represent, but they are cheap looking ties.

I just see them as a form of personal ID that warns one of there being no use in even attempting congenial or even rational conversation with the wearer, so it's not such a bad thing really. Per cheap looking?...Don't even get me started. Having to wear synthetic "fiber" made crap for uniform ties is bad enough.

Why would USAPA protest those ties?  It's simply ramping up the westholes expenses.  If they want to piss into the wind, then, I say, let them.

Agreed. I can't see any harm from indulging their visual venting. With still disparate "uniforms" in the "new" airline; I doubt anyone much reasonably cares about a few ties anyway...especially in an outfit run by "business casual" people who have difficulty even wearing suits in the course of their duties themselves, well...unless you count these:

FYI, the MB legislation should be re-titled as the "Revenge of the Cat Ranchers Bill". The FA's did a total staple. APA set of a deal where if the TWA system survived, they'd have the quickest upgrades in the system, if not, they'd go behind most AA guys. Almost 400 Captains still have their protected seats despite their flying disappearing.

Well folks, we now know the true stories here:
 
1) I was just high on too many twinkies when I shot the mayor of San Francisco. I just couldn't help myself.
2) "If the gloves don't fit; you must acquit." and "I wouldn't ever wear those ugly ### shoes."..even though during a tiny production run, almost none were made in my size which perfectly fits the footprints, and I did own a pair.
3) And now? The flight attendants made us do it! It's all their fault! We secretly loved and deeply respected the Air Cal/Reno/TWA people ourselves...Honest!
