Indeed they do, and we're all still eagerly awaiting "you'se" detailed description of just what you would have done "better"....Well? Let's finally hear it...?

Ahhhh.... Eastholius.... My beloved, little, besotted bloviator... Actually, you may still be sober enough to accomplish my request. I am only willing to continue this little repartee', if you will look up, and accurately describe here the usage of the thrust levers for the remainder of our referenced "feat" of airmanship. Until then...

"if you will look up, and accurately describe..."...? Seriously? What ARE "you'se" kid?....A supposed "pilot"?.... Or a librarian?

Sigh!...And yet I see no PM accepting my generous offer for an opportunity for "you'se" to dazzle me/us all, or forever humiliate yourself? Surely, such an AWA-some..umm..."pilot" as yourself could wish nothing more than to prove your "skills" and personal "worth" aloft"...NO? Oh well. Then just bray away, little jackass. Should "you'se" ever grow a spine, or ever really feel comfortable with your undoubtedly AWA-some "skills" aloft; please DO PM...Or should I just "look it up" instead? ;)

Thanks again for the always dependable laughs. :)

Snapthis, bullfighting is part of the Spanish culture, judge it for yourself. The Plaza del torros is a beautiful venue. Bullfighting on horseback by "rejoneadors" is an exciting blend of padgentry and horsemanship....of course, if you are not a meat eater, then most likely, a museum would be a better way to spend your time.

"bullfighting is part of the Spanish culture," Well...Goody-Goody for "the Spanish culture". Unintended fungus found in any prepped, but cracked petri dish is also, definably, part of a "culture." "Suit-of-lights" fruit-loops prancing and mincing about some essentially, already slaughtered animal, suffering both shock and blood loss, with even the very muscles needed to just raise his head previously shredded by mounted azzholes with spears, is nothing more than cruelly savage butchery....Period! WHY torture magnificent animals like that? Some people and "cultures" being twisted and sadistic azzholes is hardly the fault of any bull.

"judge it for yourself" I have, and found it nothing less than utterly disgusting. Hemingway was completely full of BS there.

You want a "sport" I'll respect? Fine. Put the fruit-loops in their "suits of lights" up against each other in the arena in pairs, bent swords, specifically designed for only the "heroic" slaughter of bovines included...and don't let them run for mommy behind any barricades. ;)

However many jerkoffs there are that lust for the sight and smell of blood for their perverted amusement; let it properly flow from "consenting adults", and not helplessly tortured animals.and.. yes; I do love animals more than I do many people. They are God's simple creatures. We have free will and supposed "minds"...and just look at what we do with those amazing gifts....

I am only willing to continue this little repartee',

If ever I feel the need for mindless "repartee'," I'll buy a coffee shop to hang out in. Meanwhile; I doubt "you'se" could fly a half circle around even your own arse. PM at your earliest convenience and prove me wrong. ;) Something I've long wondered about: Just what sort of even pretended "pilots" wouldn't jump at the chance to prove their flying skills? Especially so's to humble a foe? Seriously; "you'se" self-styled "spartans" are nothing I've ever before seen.

P.S. No fair coming dressed in a "dire wolf" T-shirt, but mindless mutterings of "this is sparta" might not prove too terrifying.

I'm not advocating a ban of the "sport" but I have the same opinion as EastUS on this subject, therefore as a tourist, a museum would most likely be my choice over a bullfight.

Sound wisdom snap. The world's finest museums present the best in human creativity and beauty and serve to inspire....well...save for such as Les Invalides-Paris/The Imperial war Museum-London/etc, which certainly serve to inspire, but that's another story, and involves us, as a species, killing each other, not torturing helpless animals.

[quote name="fifidriver" post="1113243" timestamp=" GFindY, you lying, cheating, stealing, ham-handed, elderly, leperous scab! Now there's an insult for you! [/quote]

Insult indeed. Well, at least you put some thought into it. I'll give you that.

Anyone on the West want to chime in on red flags? Do they pay reserves on top of guarantee?

Thx in advance.

Thx...  Yes.  However you may only pick up "red-flag" pairings on a DO, GD or VA day.  Makes for a pretty nice paycheck, w/o too much work.  In addition, West reserves are not allowed to pickup open trips on days off unless they are "red" or "yellow" flagged.

Indeed. It was a trick played on me by may hosts from Manchester. Served up with a smile and you have try it. What am I eating? Oh, it has barley and meat inside. What's this on the outside, oh that's a sheep's stomach. That's what they cook it in. He failed to mention the liver and heart they put in the dish, I hate liver. I had to wash it down with that fine Italian beverage served in Scotland called a Peroni.

I did not get a chance go to the Stirling although I did tour the Urquhart which was more of a ruin than a castle.

It was a whirlwind trip up the M6 from Manchester, I wanted to stop at Lockerbie and our hosts kept talking about the Lake District. I guess I will save that for the next visit.

All the best to you as well, Bob.

Snap,

On your next trip make sure you get to Stirling, and Glasgow has a first class transportation museum on the River Clyde.

All the best,

Bob

I appreciate the suggestions from you both. I'll add those to the bucket list.

Merci beaucoup, East

Things have gotten quite tame this end of August.......

Maybe the westies finally realize they need to join in the growth and how much better it would be for all their pilots.

The West realizes this is going to arbitration, they will have a MC, and the final result will be a lot closer to the Nicolau Award than DOH.

There are plenty of 2013 and 2014 hires that could think a Nic method would be correct. And plenty of others too.... Who could be opposed to a Nic method now?
