That and the profit sharing have been GRRRREEEEAT!

98% of the time.
That was also a East pilot negotiated benefit, good point.

You took the bait, the dumber hungrier fish hit early.

Oscar is a former Trans States F/O with a Delta hire date of 2000 then furlough.
In other words he is pals with Mikey 767jetzz, a UAL poser, Mitch Vaselino, and exB717 flyer Trans States. You are dealing with a circle jerk of mid 90 hires at Trans States flying Beech 1900's who think they should go ahead of an 87 hire east.
Nice try Oscar. See you in Margate where your spin is more acceptable.
.......or I was hired in 1988 after flying RF-4s for the Air Force. Now a senior Captain after checking out in 1998. One or the other. I will let the dear readers decide who is telling the truth and who is blabbing on incessantly.

Bottom line, your using a strawman example...

Bottom line my statement is 100% true.

My father lost his Captain's position to a guy who couldn't hold Captain at USAir before the merger.

USAir shrunk CLT, my father lost his position.

USAir then reversed course and the position my father lost was filled by a premerger USAir F/O.

I will let the "dear" readers know that you are a delta pilot and an alpa shill.

Tell your alpa buddy leo his union's ass was kicked off the US Airways property.  Nice try on the seniority bs and get over it.

RF-4.... That could explain a lot. Real fighters don't spend their time shooting film. Always a bride's maid...

Steve Bradford and the original board members started a union to look out for all US Airways pilots.  west pilots did not gain 15 plus years in seniority, tsk, tsk.

By the way, Steve and the original founding fathers of USAPA, thank you.

The pilot profession turned the elusive tenured corner because of you.

received a note from a Westicle under the tray table today.. So yes their games continue.  Turned it into the chief pilot with the Flight number and capt name.....

west pilots had a policy where they were kicked off the jumpseat for weight and balance.  East pilots negotiated long ago that the jumpseater could not be removed for weight and balance.

Yes....but it is also only one cockpit jumpseat rider who is weight protected, even if there are two jumpseats.  One flight attendant jumpseat is similarly protected from weight/balance restrictions.
