Well, this single post pretty much highlights why the east is backed into a corner.  Like a rat and a bucket of water, the last thing the east wants is arbitration with the west again, and we all know exactly why.  We also know the east is looking for an escape route around not only arbitration, but now the MOU.  So, here we are, two for two with the east pilots: sign on to an agreement, then do everything they can to try and slither out of it.  Only thing is, the east no longer controls the timeline and they are no longer the favored majority by Parker.  Uh oh!  The day of reckoning is approaching for the serious men doing serious work.  This is going to be fun to watch.

And I agree with you about the AA employees, I've heard a few comments from AA pilots talking about the "mess we inherited buying you guys". "APA got you the contract", "APA got you the pay, what were you making before?"... Yep, heard them all."

There will be no arbitration between East and West.

Bottom line my statement is 100% true. 
 
My father lost his Captain's position to a guy who couldn't hold Captain at USAir before the merger.
 
USAir shrunk CLT, my father lost his position.
 
USAir then reversed course and the position my father lost was filled by a premerger USAir F/O.

To capture the protections of the Kagel award you had to chase the seat and equipment. Then when the company replaced the time back into his original base, you father would have been able to recapture his previouse bid. Ahead of a DOH more senior former usair pilot.
Its all a game, you have to play by the rules, or do your own thing (like volunteering to go to F/O).
To some QOL is all important, i respect that.

But making it look like a former F/O just bid into base infront of him is a false statement.

Or, at the least, its not the whole story..... As Paul Harvey us to say, "and now for the rest of the story".

Tony the T Bone Anger had an interesting social media rant recently where he mentioned hanging a sitting President of the US. He then back pedaled into his Christian persona. Perhaps Res Judicata informed him making a threat on the President will get you an interview with the Secret Service. Seems his anger is not confined to just east pilots.
Tony is a patriot and family guy. That is if you agree with his Angry Agenda.

Crazy.  I hope T Bone the Biker has no dreams of becoming an FBI agent.  They'll hook him up to the lie detector and give him the Mark Doyal treatment.  Too bad the Tempe HR people never caught on to these two.
