I imagine organizing an illegal job action is grueling work.

You want to help Mike buy a cake from Pheonix.

Be foreworned, they're only half baked.

I have no doubt he put in at least that much time. The work is grueling and thankless.
We should pay him

If the company were ever to find it in their heart to pay a captain that has no 1st class medical, and not even make him use his sick time first, with the promise of paying him for unused sick time upon his retirement...

Too bad for you and luvthe9 that Hummel beat your recall by a very large margin.

Cleary on the other hand couldn't run for re election because he knew he would lose.

Years from now everyone will remember the names Bradford and Cleary for winning the seniority battle, the other guys will be those middle of the road forgotten names that never did anything much to stand out in a crowd.

No body remembers who was at the head when Wolf gave us Parity +2% pay raises.  But everyone remembers when seniority is at stake.  John Prater stood by like a noodle to let it be taken, and Brandford/Cleary saved it.  They will be remembered.  The end.

That may be true, but he can always claim intellectual property rights to the Unique Corporate Transaction (UCT) acronym.   No one else will fight him for that one.

A few weeks after United Airlines and US Airways' Hart-Scott-Rodino Act notice to the federal government Arlen Specter set up meeting at the Justice Department in D.C. where the DOJ, United, and US Airways reached an agreement that would meet antitrust concerns to allow the proposed merger to proceed. However, about 48 hours later Jim Goodwin backed out of the deal following problems with AFA in regard to the Air Wisconsin grievance. This action was the straw that broke the back of Stephen Wolf's failed attempt to merge US Airways with United.

Then the September 11 attacks occurred, revenue dropped off of the table, and US Airways was facing a Chapter 11 filing. Wolf had no stomach to lead US Airways through its first formal reorganization and Wolf elected to hire Dave Siegel to lead the company. I predicted first on this website the next or third attempt to merge  the two companies I called the Unique Corporate Transaction or UCT, which was a plan developed by Wolf and Siegel that was called "Project Minnow." Following my report that US Airways was in negotiations to buy United the news media published four articles on this subject including:

"David Siegel took US Airways through its first bankruptcy.  He approached United again -- part of an initiative code-named 'Project Minnow,' with US Airways as the small fish swallowing the bigger one."

"United and US Airways have discussed a tie-up before. In 2000, the U.S. Justice Department nixed a proposed merger on antitrust grounds. Later, when David Siegel was CEO of US Airways, the carrier considered a takeover of United after emerging from its first bankruptcy as a way of remaining competitive. The option was code-named 'Project Minnow,' with US Airways as the small fish gobbling the bigger one. In the end, US Airways decided to merge with Tempe, Ariz.-based America West Airlines."

Your declaration of victory is a bit premature.

Former pilot union president sues over vacation time

In his lawsuit, Cleary claimed he worked seven days a week for the union for most of his four-year term and took only seven paid days off during that time. He worked on those seven days he took off as well, Cleary said.

Claxon, your comments please.
Comments? OK.
Compare Ferguson to Cleary.
Ferguson- the Nic Nightmare. Millions to Marty. Loss after loss in court because of simple legal comprehension. Now the PHX pilots are in serious trouble in a merger.

Cleary? A win every time. No Nic.
So Simple Even a Traitor can see it

Only Trader and Munn still have not figured out how bad Ferguson set up his group. They are in a very bad position now, due to him.

BPR Special Meeting Notice
In accordance with the USAPA Constitution & Bylaws Article V Section 3, and USAPA UOM Section 3 Paragraph II.a.1, President Gary Hummel has called a Special Meeting of the USAPA Board of Pilot Representatives, at the USAPA offices in Charlotte. It will commence at 0905 ET on Thursday, June 5, 2014, and conclude at 1700 ET or at the conclusion of business. We anticipate most of this one-day meeting will be in closed session.
The agenda for this meeting is:
 1. NAC JCBA Review
 2. Merger Committee Update
Prior to commencing the Special Meeting for June 5, President Gary Hummel will reconvene the Special BPR Meeting Conference Call from April 28 at 0900 ET, for the purpose of officially adjourning the meeting. (Note – the Conference Call was not properly adjourned since the conference call system ended the call before adjournment.)
USAPA Communications
I wonder why this meeting is being called? Hummmm???? USAPA = Pyrrhic Victory. The UELs and USAPA may have done it again.

Give it a rest, no one believes you nor do they like you.

So what "great pain" will USAPA feel?

You are a broken record.
