The West does not want fair,either does the APA.

The West has it's own self perpetuating view of fairness. After numerous offers at negotiation being rebuffed including Wye River and the face to face between Mike Cleary and Eric Ferguson , I can only conclude they want things this way. They won't participate in any meaningful way after scores of requests for West pilots to staff committees and they bombard their own with phone calls when someone tries. They are whiners and quitters. Let them sit in their soiled diapers until the cows come home.

Everyone has opinions.  Bottom line, apa and American pilots have only two choices, agree to a seniority list with USAPA or three arbiters will decide their fate for the first time in the history of their pilots union.  Either result will become legal and binding.

Which list will that arbitration panel use for the 4,100 US Airways pilots?   DOH or Nic?

www.pacer.gov does NOT show the Company and APA filed yesterday. Could be the strategic partners are SCARED? Could it be that that they don't know how to electronically file? Could it be Chip Munn's "legal" knowledge isn't with them and they are rudderless? Could be that Chip Munn and Mark Doyal are such legal "geniuses" that they are scared of DFR 145?

Or COULD IT BE THAT CHIP MUNN DOESNT KNOW WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT?

Hey West pilots, why don't you answer that question or are all of you lurking, querking, twerking and jerking at the next Chip Munn "legal analysis"?

 
 
Everyone was still hung over from partying on Memorial Day.   They are tardy.  No big deal.  Sequestration or something.  Maybe they sent it to the obamacare.gov website.

Memorial Day is a time to Honor and remember the Fallen, what they've given us all and what it so dearly cost them, and unless your "heroically" posting from under a headstone, there ain't no "my" in it anywhere. Grow up.

I know we are ending a holiday weekend, but it has now been four weeks since the BPR passed their resolution(s) to provide APA a new draft PA, UMTA, GA, and MBLS offer. And, no news. What's up with that? Is USAPA being ignored by APA or is there progress at hand? Does Judicial Estoppel = Pyrric Victory?[/size]
 
Tomorrow should be an interesting day with AAG and APA's Reply briefs due to be filed in the District Court for D.C. I wonder what the two strategic partners will have to say about USAPA's lawsuit and AAG/APA's counter suit against the pilot's union?[/size]

In his lawsuit, Cleary claimed he worked seven days a week for the union for most of his four-year term and took only seven paid days off during that time. He worked on those seven days he took off as well, Cleary said.

He may or may not have worked that many hours or days... but his work is paying off for all of us (especially those that upgraded) better and better with each retirement as the days go by.   If he set a $675 tie website there are plenty of folks that would happily buy his tie.  
 
P.S.  I have only seen one liberty tie.. do they take them off when they fly out East?
