seems as if some local president is having a Barbie Tantrum and wants to be selfish and have negotiations held hostage. Disappointing indeed. Should just raid and make it all iam if we gotta put up with all this fussing. My gosh. We need a joint contract, can we please stop the strawman argument and quit fussing about a count that was off by one. Nit picking and sabotaging the negotiation process is anti union. Is that how the twu is?

Raid them and then they wont have one station. How is that?
Give it a shot tough guy and see what happens? Bet you would LOVE that wouldn't you? Best way possible of seeing your goal of the Unions being destroyed at both airlines happen right?

Nice try Loki.

For the love of God, yes, lets move on. Sounds like an internal political thing with the twu. Lets get to wimpy and bring the nc together. Cant the fussing be resolved at the same time the negotiations process is moving forward?
The twu isnt going to toss a monkey wrench in negotiations if this local president and his station isnt renegotiated out of a signed document are they? I hope sito keeps all iam stations, iam stations and doesnt give an inch. Its in the agreement and its non negotiable.
Look at this. Give me a break you. You would be the first one screaming on the steps of Capital Hill if they went to throw your leather chair in the bonfire and threw you back into the mix. Oh wait a minute, you still do that today since Delaney chucked you out on your rear.

I'm fairly certain that the IAM couldn't get the 50%+1, but I dont know fleet's numbers on both sides. On the Mx side though, I'm certain they wouldn't get enough.

you never know how the TWU will react. But thing is apparent, the infighting for dues is just beginning
The issue with BOS has ZERO to do with dues. Period ZERO! It's all about Boston pride. Go look up the History of Unions and Labor issues in Boston and you'll understand where they're coming from.

I never said the TWU side of the argument does. But the IAM response seems like it does.

No one should be looking or even talking about this happening. The two sides need to talk, iron this out and get on with business. These are minor issues if you think about it taking out any emotions. I'm willing to bet it's figured out fairly quickly and then off we go.

There hasn't been an OFFICIAL response yet as far as I know? Whatever we talk about on here I wouldn't call official.

most of twu ord despises the twu. I know. I work right with them and ride the bus with them. If the twu wants to keep playing games for the sake of an individual who wants to stay as a local prez then i think sito should drop thehammer and just move the small and broke twu to the side. Then the twu can focus on its subway operators in nyc.

nice bait and switch. Your union is the one having its B fit during this midnight hour and refusing to join together for the sake of negotiations. Next time tell your leaders to bring a calculator instead of taking their socks off. Resolve this by giving that local prez a few conventions to go to. One guy shouldnt be plugging up negotiations when u have so many brothers and sisters on recall waiting for the twu to do the right thang. Do it!

Wow man you really do bend whichever way you think the wind is blowing, lol. Should I go back and "Quote Mine" how many times you said the exact opposite there "Cinderella"

And I doubt that Sito would take any advice from a broke down, sore loser such as yourself. He didn't get to where he is today from taking advice from fools.

Hey and have you been able to "unchap your arse" yet?

The NMB asked for some info to address a situation in the SCS filing. Plenty of time to hash this out before they make their determination there Skippy.

Oh and BTW let me get this out there. I very highly doubt that that letter was supposed to go out for public consumption but that fool President on the TWU maintenance side Local 591 Bob Peterson put it up on his website. This guy is the guy who is trying to get the NMB to go against the association and says that the TWU should be the only Union on the ballot.

He has motivations that this letter fits in very nicely with and I'm sure is giggling his asss off if this issue causes any problems that he can use to his advantage.

Gary Peterson is a fool, why? He's fighting for his members, isn't that his job? Just because he doesn't feel the same about the alliance as you doesn't make him a fool.

He's fighting to remain TWU because it gives him a better shot at ousting the TWU and getting in AMFA.

If he was fighting for his members he would have asked them with a vote if they wanted him to write the NMB to try and scuttle the Association. He didn't do that. He went rouge.

Oh and he used the AMFA lawyers to write his little objection there. Seham, Seham and Meltz.
