So again I find it very hard to believe that you are a banker who just happens to spend 18 hours a day in an airline union forum. Nice try.737823 said:So again I find it very hard to believe he is a 19 year employee who just recently got involved and engaged because of Tim's posts. Nice try.

He's ridiculously horrible at selling himself. You know there were almost times I wanted to give him advice cause I almost felt bad for him, although we all know he would never listen anyway. Plus I really believe he would do everything he could to destroy the Union if he got in anyway.roabilly said:WeAA,
The irony is their efforts are accomplishing the exact opposite of what they desire. Bluto told me he voted for the first time in the last AGC election because of people like Doosh! What's funny, he even spoke with Nelson on election day. Nelson did know who he was of course, and he did not leave good impression as far Bluto was concerned.
That's why we had a record breaking turn-out in CLT to vote AGAINST Nelsons team!
Thanks Robbed.robbedagain said:Glad to have u on here WeAA u really give very good insight bro
the snapshot would prolly suggest another station going twu since usairways has done significant hiring, but i havent heard of any LAA hiring. Maybe thats the issue and the past snapshot is now uneven. I imagine, along the way, it will b tweaked to mirror things.WeAAsles said:The APA and ALPA had issues and they were resolved. The APFA and AFA had issues and they were resolved. This to I'm sure will be resolved and I very much doubt will cause any significant delay in moving forward. But issues need and should be resolved while the opportunity remains available to do so or they can create loss of focus to the ultimate goal we all want. A great JCBA for all.

There are 3 issues they are concerned about. Like 700 said they wrote a letter to the IAM. The 3 things are 1. The ratio 2. Bos representation( they basically want Bos ) 3. The strike vote that's in the alliance constitution they say is a violation of their contract. Having said that. They signed an agreement sometime ago agreeing to all the issues. Not sure they would be able to change things now.Tim Nelson said:the snapshot would prolly suggest another station going twu since usairways has done significant hiring, but i havent heard of any LAA hiring. CB there may be a situation where some member who were on the TWU side were not counted in the original snapshot? (Meaning someone may have fudged the numbers for their personal gain) I would hate to know if that were true and I believe that the snapshot should be reassessed from the original date to see if there truly is an issue in fairness to BOTH sides?charlie Brown said:There are 3 issues they are concerned about. Yes, the issue with the charters was that the company( can't think of name right now) where the plane is now being parked requires their employees to work anything parked there. However the last time I checked, our guys were still going over and getting paid the overtime just as if they were working it. I'm back in the office on Monday, going to check on the issue.700UW said:Charlie,
Did AD call you about the charters?
If not pm me your number.
Not really gonna agree or disagree with ya on your post since I have no idea on how the numbers were done. However I do know that both unions signed off on the agreement. So I would think unless the IAM agrees to reopen things then it is what it is. Just my opinion though.WeAAsles said:CB there may be a situation where some member who were on the TWU side were not counted in the original snapshot? There was a claim made from the very beginning of the association and from what I understand local management was not accommodating in the slightest to releasing the employee head count on the US side?
If true that is poor sportsmanship and absolutely an issue that should be clarified.
If they don't agree to a FAIR evaluation what does that tell all the members on BOTH sides?charlie Brown said:Not really gonna agree or disagree with ya on your post since I have no idea on how the numbers were done. I here ya, I'm not trying to start a debate with ya. I understand what your saying. But these decisions will be made at the top of both unions I'm sure. All I'm saying is it seems a little bit to me like crying over spilt milk. Nobody forced the TWU to sign the original agreement. If they didn't like something IMO they shouldn't have signed. Hell they already had the numbers for any election, so they didn't have to sign anything. But I would think they will work something out.WeAAsles said:If they don't agree to a FAIR evaluation what does that tell all the members on BOTH sides?
This is not a contest. This is an agreement that needs to be entered into with fairness, truthfulness and trust.
It is extremely easy for the company to double check there numbers for any date if asked.
