Good luck to you. I used the RIF in 2005 in an effort to leave AA in the rear view mirror and it was the best decision I have ever made. At this point, if I ever step foot in a hangar to work an airplane in my lifetime, it would be too soon.
Negotiations are still going on. No where does it say that Title II is going to be saved. If you save other Title jobs, you have to give something else. I have been here a number of years and understand how the TWU operates. The TWU will take the position of saving jobs, but the company will not give just give them what they want. The company is looking to pattern themselves after a MRO, to do that and keep some items from the Term Sheet, trades have to be made.dude read again, no where does it say 40% OSM there is no cap to the amount or where they can work that is whats going to kill us in tul they wont need to outsource but most on my dock that would he in the lay off to OSM on the dock are taking the layoff
I would be interested in some of the reasoning behind the "no" positions.
And does a no position mean to keep the TWU?

The TWU has to save face and their dues flow to the International, by saving Title II, the union is playing the numbers to keep someone like AMFA out.
my NO position is because I am wasting my time signing that card. As long as Tulsa has the majority, NO union will ever succeed in replacing the TWU. especially now that the TWU supposedly save thousands of jobs in tulsa. Good Job, Team TWU!!!I would be interested in some of the reasoning behind the "no" positions.

My gut and my heart tell me the time has come to attempt to reform the AMFA organizing committee in Tulsa and prepare for another card drive to gain a representational election at American Airlines for the Mechanic and Related workers.
Without funds to start and succeed, I will not waste my time and effort.
Would you be willing to donate 2% of your prefunding medical refund to an AMFA Organizing Effort in Tulsa Oklahoma?
If I decide to lead this effort I pledge much more than 2% of my refund to the effort. And I will pledge whatever time it takes to get the election and win.
