You know CIO, your credibility is as low as a snake's belly, and you and your company union are obviously on the run.

You have yet to answer any of the ligitimate issues raised on this bulletin board.

You simply continue rhetoric of no substance, and push these useless rhetorical threads to the top of the page while refusing to answer anything with substance.

You have followed the basic industrial union method of operation to date, and we are thankful that your predictablility allows us to complete strategies with precision. That same predictable nature is why the company has been thumping your union leadership for twenty years.

While we have had our differences on politics I would never do that. Cant say the same about you though.

It is actually Dennis Burchette in this video, whom places a blame on the "head of a snake".

However, Dennis was completely in error. The Head of the Snake is the TWU Constitution, not the Local President position.

posted March 03, 2004 01:40 Hey Scorp, here's the skinny. The company will keep silver birds in our super bays 12 & 14 for the next 24 years. The narrow-body bays, all 11 including the wet-dock, will be used upto and including 2005, to get our MD-80's eco'ld to AA specs and TWA 757's not used in the AA fleet (11 aircraft) back to the leasor. In my bay (14, working the 757's) we are planned to get 8 57's back to the leasor by years end and next year will have only the 16 EX-TWA 757's to perform heavy and lite ck "C"'s in 2005. We expect the MD-80's (3 lines maby 4 working 7 days) to be eco'ld by early 2005 and then it's well you tell me. We were told that 3rd party will save the day and "over flow" that the other bases can't or won't perform. I'm not holding my breath past this fall but that will be after the vote, so I can leave with a sence of accomplishment and pride. Hope you can make to K.C. this Saturday as the AMFA National Guys will be coming to talk with us. T.A.

I have no problem with the Ex-TWA guys. In fact one of them gave us a list with addresses of the laid off guys so we can get cards from them!

Now who from the TWU would spread such lies?

<_< Bob----- To answeer your question, I saw a flyer quoting you on this board, that said, if one of the overhaul bases was to be closed it should be MCI, because it was the oldest, and had the oldest work force! Now, who do you think would put out a flyer like that?? And I know I'm beating a dead horse here, but what are your feelings on the Senority issue? Rumor has it that AA filed and the cutoff date was yesterday to receive cards! Rumor also has it that Amfa attorney's were informed yesterday.

I am also hearing from Dallas and elsewhere in the system that Amfa filed with less cards than what their telling the organizers in an attempt to position themselves in case they fail to show enough interest!

You gotta love it!
