Amfa Fails To Get Election At Aa

Checking it Out said:
The date is fast approaching for Amfa to have their objections in. July 14th. Now it seems AA has requested a two week extension to reveiw amy objections. It seems they have more pressing concerns than the Amfa.

Now it appears it will be sometime after August 5th before we know if the 18,661 will hold up.
TWU lies notwithstanding, the NMB the TWU and the company are trying to figure out what to do about NMB Case R-6872 dated April 29, 2002. In this ruling the NMB determined that there are 16,629 mechanic and related employees at AA. With all the layoffs and cutbacks how did we end up with Hennesy's 18,000 plus non-ruling?

Oh what tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive...

Oh really CIO?! I must have missed it. Please explain one more time? Take your time and think of something good. I'll wait.

One carrier issue with no objections from either union at the time and only pertained to active members. Does not have anything to do with who is or is not eligible to vote in an representation election between the TWU or Amfa. The NMB determines eligibility guidelines. This issue has no merit as far as the NMB is concerned and has expressed this.

Hey Kevin can you read here is what the board said in 2002. The Board has determined that the single craft or class of Airline Mechanics, Ground Service, Plant Maintenance, and Fleet Service Personnel is no longer a proper craft or class at either American or TWA-LLC. The proper crafts or classes are Mechanics and Related Employees, and Fleet Service Employees. American Airlines, Inc./TWA Airlines, LLC., 29 NMB 240, 251 (2002).
Why has TWU and AA insisted on adding 2000 fleet services people to the list of voter. That’s right becouse the demacritic process scares the crap out of them . NO VOTE  NO PEACE!!!!!!!!!

CIO you're full of s@%t and you know it! The numbers presented to the NMB by the company in 2002 is the actual class and craft and is the number of individuals who should vote. In order to protect it's toy union the company will go to any extent, as the recent numbers racket has shown . Doesn't it bother you CIO that the company is helping your cause? How can you suppot a union that is supported by the company. Some union man you are!

TWU LLC, A WHOLELY OWNED SUBCIDIARY OF AMR CORPORATION

Has AA violated any part of the NMB? They are the ones that have submitted names according to the guidelines. So far they have withstood any objections and from what I have been hearing this is unlikely to change!

Answer this, Why did Amfa submit so many duplications of names each time they filed objections?

Why did Amfa lie about the number of cards submitted in the first place?

You are the ones holding the Two to different standards!!!!

They have agreed with the TWU on the fact that 2000 fleet services people should be added to the list. They changed there position from 2002 to protect TWU why becouse thay LIKE THEM and whats not to like from them? The company asks and TWU gives. NO VOTE  NO PEACE

Where in the NMB guidelines does it say please submit names of 85 management people 26 dead people, 97 people Laid off on probation, over 1000 people who are retired, deceased , Quit , Laid off and refused recall , permanently disabled, terminated, working outside the craft and class? Can you explain your self or are you a common liar? NO VOTE  NO PEACE!!!!

Well Amfa has a few short hours to file their objections with the NMB. As the clock ticks down to final hours, the interest has faded on the floor. It seems most have come to the conclusion an election will not happen.

Will Amfa pull a cat out of the hat? Or will it be a typical flop? Last several objections the Amfa attorneys have filed seem to end up the same way as the FM1 case at NWA!! It is obvious the lies and miss information, better yet the sensitive information Amfa got access to thru dis honest means has so far, had no affect on the outcome.

It seems Amfa supports have lost faith in the National! Is the lies and Half-truths starting to influence them?

Time is ticking!!!!!!!!

With the high percentage of member participation in the elections and the fact the members voted in good strong TWU supporters at local 514 I believe we know that you are wrong!!!!

The TWU has made significant ground on strengthening the members resolve and Amfa has made significant ground at losing support. If an election is ever held the TWU will win!!!!!!

Actually that is incorrect Kevin. There are more AMFA supporters now than there ever was. Trying to suppress a membership vote by collusion of the company and twu was a bad move and one that has a history at UAL and NWA.

Since you brought up FM, what is going on with our Force Majeure case from 2001? Hope those members that were illegally laid off are not holding their breath for that money!
