Why Tim Nelson is Dangerous to IAM-represented employees at United Airlines

Nelson does that..... Portrays himself as an expert on the Internet over something that does not affect him or his coin purse. Bonjour nelson

Bottom line is Jet , we are all not going to win........ You and Tim fall somewhere in the middle of something... you want your retro.... Tim wants whatever.... The language will determine many things

Nelson would rather 30000 people and their families suffer an unneeded strike or remain in NMB limbo with us still divided with the company moving forward picking us off one at a time

Why is that Nelson? Bonjour you fake ..........I want my retro
The union certainly has more leverage than what you guys brought back. Nobody is talking strike. But initiating the next step in negotiations, i.e., release, should have happened a few years ago. But to do nothing but continue being a pushover is why our members ended up with this ridiculous contract that only has mainline scope for 7 stations. The IAM doesn't care, it will outsource itself jobs to itself.

I'm ok waiting for the explanation. But I have to say if this doesn't ratify my gut tells me the company business plan will forward and if your not Pre 94 we won't be here long.

Nelson what part don't you get? The company under the current contracts can outsource express anywhere and anytime. Bonjour you fake

I get the fact that you want to outsource jobs to yourself by reducing the entire contract down to temporary express jobs and for the possibility of outbidding swissport and establishing a morph off of American Eagle where the sky is the limit for dues. I get that, from a business perspective.

However, that's not the core of what a labor organization is intended to be about. Your contract is between United Airlines and its employees, NOT between SkyWest and United employees. Hey, getting express work is fine but only as a addition and not at the cost of only having 7 mainline stations under scope. I think you start with the United route map and square that all up, then pull up the skywest map and try to bargain in some of that work. You guys are doing things arse backwards.

Keep pulling Nelson you'll begin believing your own spin...... Another Nelson bonjour moment

Hey kev if you want to be a nelson cheerleader. So be it.

He hasn't read the TA so anything he is spouting is lies and is filling in with fairy tales. He may be able to get away with that on facebook but not here. He likes to play the what if game. We can all play that game.

I'm a cheerleader for union leaders being accountable to the membership they serve.

I'm a cheerleader for an upending to the sclerotic structure(s) that still exist in many unions.

But mostly, I'm a cheerleader for negotiators that are at least competent.

Hey here is a different approach Nelson. Let try this for giggles. In the land of oz the company agrees to protect every city with mainline flights. However the UAX work is not protected. (This is the way it is in the current sUA ramp contract and not at all in the ibt contract or in the PCE contract) Now the company decides to replace the mainline aircraft with rj's. What happens Nelson? Furloughs, that's what happens. Some have move packages, some don't. Some have good severance packages some don't . Those at united with Pre 94 will have jobs, those that don't hit the streets if they have no one junior to em. With lifetime recall rights to a city that isn't coming back.

This folks is what Nelson thinks of the working people and their families at united.

But maybe that is his grand plan he has schemed up in his dark little room

Hey kev in order for the fans in the stands to see you clearly you'll have to shake your Pom poms a little harder
