I hope that all of you realize that this "card drive" at American is in its infancy with the general purpose being the removal of the Association. Both AMP and AMFA are in the scuttlebutt but nothing has been decided. What is impressive is in the response of younger mechanics and the rest of the mechanics at TULE. There are still other stations to bring online. Everyone must be given to their opinion. What is happening is the loyalists under the yoke of the TWU have approached participants looking for change whose names appear on the Go Fund Me account and threatening with them with Dual Unionism. Last time I checked the Association is not a union.

Buck you guys need to set the go fund me page so people can give anonymously, to protect their identities, it that is happening to keep from scaring people off.

If you don't they will just intimidate people, especially with this Supreme court decision will people able to deny dues money, if they so choose. They will get desperate to keep your group, and I am being serious. You guys best bet is the AMP, because if you are the only ones in it, you control it.

Someone better decide which union is best. Money is being collected for representational change but no specific union mentioned yet. We don't need to be split again like the last drive between the AMFA and the Teamsters. All I remember hearing was sign both cards, anyone but the TWU and it can't hurt to go with both so let the best union win. We know what that resulted in. A division in interest.
AMP interest at its debut didn't do well because guys wanted AMFA. AMP drive died and we went nowhere with AMFA.

All unions will have to be on the same field. Perhaps the industrial unions will finally have to rein in their spending, especially on politics. As for the Supreme Court decision, I would say, the unions had better earn their members money.
