Not to say violence is the answer to anything..

Acts of violence against a SCAB is a different story all together. SCABS know the are stealing someones job.. These TWU officials were trying to protect their members which is their job..

No physical violance is justified, period.

BTW, where is the promoised press release from Monday? It is now late Tuesday afternoon.

I don't agree.....maybe he has a good reason to cross....whatever ,its a personal choice.....just like those people in PHL....ying/yang says equal and opposite reaction....actions have a price no matter what...

how are you so sure TWU wasn't looking for this to happen so they can petition NMB for more time for a marginal campain to get more cards??

breaking heads in any union action is not warranted by any means....what if someone dies....if hes a scab its ok??

It's not a different story at all ..violence is violence. Someone who crosses a picket line is just doing what the strikers are doing--looking after their own interests.

good point rjh.....

and after what has transpired at NWA/AMFA, i think the strike weapon may have been defused forever.don't think for an instant that its a viable tactic now as all labor relations groups are studying what went down there for future use.

That has been the signature on the bottom of my posts for the last few days. It wasn't a caption. Try harder, Bernie.
well your the one who sent that pic of a guy pulling his eye out in a P/M.....

so i'm screwed up.....

let he who has not sinned cast the first stone....people who live in glass houses ;)

It quite easy to see what happened at NWA. The company union(IAM) is performing struck work  . Hopefully after these elections they will no longer be at Usairways!!

you better check the contract at NWA....its in fleet to do that work.....its in fleet at U to do it if and when IAM mechs would walk.

besides i was refering to AMFA...and you had to take your shot

of course i realize you refer to any union representation left here...

This guy?

I could take him! He's all blubber!

Now this guy looks like a real goon.
Vinny%202.jpg

Tony has been working out again with the weights and is in pretty good shape. That picture is a few years old, but even then he wasn't blubber. Vinnie is about 5'6" with a couple extra pounds around the mid section. Vinnie's a good guy, hopefully he wasn't involved.

IMO Tony should have stayed away from the stupid weights and gone to school to strenghten his brian
and as for the other guy, can you beleive that he is the EAP rep for PHL if found guilty what an insult for the EAP position

almost as good as the former IAM safety guy who would ride to a fuel spill on the side of a beltloader and they shut the ramp down
