US Pilots Labor Discussion 7/28- STAY ON TOPIC AND OBSERVE THE RULES

Well, the rest of the airline world doesn't see it that way. They see it the way we do: arbitration + East repudiation of that agreement. Nobody lost more than a couple of percentage points of seniority via Nicolau. The West actually lost more because of the 517 East pilots stapled to the top of the list. If you want to retire on LOA 93, go right ahead.

Well, I seriously doubt you can speak for the "rest of the airline world"... a bit arrogant don't ya think??? This matter has been debated, rehashed, ad nauseam... neither the west... nor the east (except through conditions and restrictions) will change their positions... so why continue to discuss this any further? Unless you just like to hear yourself run off at the mouth... or keyboard... as the case may be...

But you see there is a difference between the east and west. The west will not and can not change our position. Even of we wanted to (which we do not) there is no one from the west that could negotiate any changes. That was taken care of when usapa came on the property. The east out yourselves in that box.

No one can tell us to change our position. We have no control at the table so the only way for us to not get the Nicolau is for the east to take it from us. There is a word for that, taking something that does not belong to you. Then the court will give it back to us. Simply wasting everyone time.

On the other hand there are a few people that can change the east position. The court in the case of the company law suit. The court in the case of a west DFR suit. The company at the negotiating table refusing to accept DOH. Or the east pilots after this long with no raise may finally figure out you are giving way more away fighting over the Nicolau then we will ever recover otherwise.

How long have they been making more than us?

We must be real geniuses for going below the bar.

Not nearly as long as we made more than them and if wanted to compare, I'd put put my lifetime earnings against anyone on the west.

My post wasn't support for LOA 93, it was to lash out at some you-know-what saying it was all I'm worth.

Yep. we're all geniuses, east and west. Doug loves us!

Doug would love us a lot more if everyone would just embrace the East ALPAphile's desire to adopt the Nic and parity with the West pay rates.

Thanks. I guess that is what AWA pilots were worth for so long since they are the ones that set the bar there.
Lowering the bar…. HP agents were among the worst pay in the airline industry. During negotiations US management repeatedly try to lower the US agent paid scale to HP level. The agents took a strike vote and negotiated a contract for US and HP agents to bring HP agents up to US Airways standards. Not industry leading but industry comparable

I've been lurking here the past few months. I noticed that when there's a crisis, it gets really quiet and then those noise starts ramping up again.

I have two observations. The first is the football fan side of me says they are huddling up to come up with a different strategy. I also liked physics, do an experiment, and write a conclusion as a part of of the report.

I conclude that there are less than 10 USAPA cheerleaders , They claim to speak for all US Airways pilots.

I conclude they do not. OK, huddle up, communicate and come up with a clever response.

I would say you're a little short in your count. How many AOL cheerleaders?

All cheerleaders speak for their team.

Am I also to conclude, based on your previous posts that you are about 48 years old? Maybe born in 62? Just an educated guess.

Since your side is soo concerned with when our pilots were
Hired I want to know if you were born in 62?

Never mind, I will do a review and apologize in advance if my Info is not correct.

Since the East pilot group is soo concerned with DOH and DOB, when was piedmont 1984 hired and DOB?
