Well ladies and gentlemen, another Chapter in Customer Relations history has come to a close today. The Honorable Deborah S. Thompson ended her long and storied career with US Airways at the close of business today.

There's a new Sheriff in Tempe, and her name is Jennifer. This signifies a change of control and the beginning of the HP era over both US East and West Customer Relations. The ship is being guided from Tempe now, and it's only a matter of time before East Customer Relations is slowly pulled down in preparation for closing on April 28.

Hopefully, the service you have come to expect from US East Customer Relations will continue in some form when the West
takes full control.

No doubt, Ms. Thompson will be missed by many.

If you're going to look up old news articles, look up the acquisition of PEX by CAL. Whatever airline you worked for, didn't "literally put them out of business." PEX was acquired by CAL, and then merged into CAL, where the former PEX employees that stayed are still employed. Yes PEX doesn't exist anymore, and neither does Piedmont, like many other airlines that have been merged into other airlines over the years. Contrary to what you dreamed, they weren't liquidated or put out of business by anyone.

I hear he has been spotted at some US Clubs--sooner or later customers are going to start questioning him in public. Maybe we can just shout from across the concourse: Hey Doug, why do you and your executives think you are too good to respond to your customers?

From reading between the lines, I've got an assumption on what it's about and at least the level of the person contacted. If right, I'm anxious to find out the result, too. But I'm not about to spoil l4pi or Piney's fun by saying what I think is going on.
