Ok, guys. It was suggested that we set up a debate on AirlineForums.com for a TWU vs. AMP debate. The idea was to have one poster from each side of the argument. Anyone else could read the posts, but only those two could actually post.

Here's how it would have to work.

1. It would have to be in its own forum--not part of the American Airlines forum.
2. The forum would be password-protected. Only the representative from each side (and me, of course) would have the password.

Now, the problem...
Who would represent each side? If more than one person is suggested, how do we decide which one? Or, would you like to have more than one representative from each side. If more than two or three for each side, there would be no point, we already have threads on this subject where many people post.

Let me know what you think about how to proceed.

Bob owens or TWU informer for AMP side and anyone from the twu international for that side

Ok bottom line the AMP side is easy there are plenty that can and will step up. So the problem lies in who is educated and die hard TWU that will debate that side, hmmmmmmmm didnt think so. They just want to use talking points and scare tactics

How about I take the TWU side even though I am an AMP organizer and let the AMP side run all over me. Sounds like TWU practices to me.

AMP should probably have Bob Owens do the debating against the TWU. I don't have an A&P license so wouldn't qualify in the minds of many that post here.

Well when I read many of the post on this forum, I conclude that I am not qualified.

The vast majority that actually know you would have no problem with you as their representative. As to the opposing view, the gauntlet will have to be laid down in such a way that the TWU, in the minds of its hardcore members, would consider it cowardly not to accept the challenge.

Having two goliaths do battle in a debate would be entertaining and interesting.... like watching Godzilla vs. King Kong.

Try incluing YouTube videos for each side of the argument.

I want to see how the TWU guy defends the actions of Videtich in our latest contract negotiations.
Is he the one who ram-rodded the crappy TA to send it back for a vote???

We need to delve deep into that issue and put the truth on a giant neon sign. Then call CNN, Fox News, and all media outlets. The resulting fallout will initiate justice and accoutability.

Some of us may not be able to speak well, but hey, we can all read. maybe.

As someone watching from the sidelines, I would say that gauntlet has already been thrown down, and the total lack of a response from any TWU supporter(s) speaks volumes...

Videtich or some other rep from ATD and Don Rodgers should be involved in the debate.

For a Tulsa only debate Dave Stewart and Alan Ball.
