What was the outcome of those negotiations surveys sent out by some of the TWU Locals?
 
...when are the joint TWU/IAM negotiations prep going to take place?
 
...when are are going to find out who will be on the TWU Negotiation Committee? Has that been decided?

They surveys were done locally. I'd assume 591 wouldn't participate until there was a determination by the NMB and a vote.

Those survey's floated through TUL Hangar 1&2. Everything on the list were give backs and the conversation went, "Why should I respond to something like that". Other than that TUL Hangar 1
&2 has not seen any official results.....

Never saw one but after trying to fill the last one out in the 90's im sure this one had a preordained outcome just like that one did. We will all know what direction the twu wanted this one to go when the internationals media campaign hits.

That's probably very true. Seems those that did get a survey only did so as a way to calm them down while nothing happens. I know one person in particular that fell hook, line and sinker.

Survey? They know what we want and if they don't know by now, they ain't worth poo poo. All I've ever heard from the TWU is," we can't ask for that, it's going to cost the company too much money".

The TWU Local presidents are scheduled to meet in MD. March 8 thru the 13th for negotiations prep and training. As far as surveys dammed if you do, dammed if you don't. You can say that the negotiators should know what we want but if they hadn't done them people would be up in arms that their voices aren't being heard.

Like Buck said it was all giv-backs to the company.  This survey crap by the TWU was the same ole BS the TWU has put on for the last 30 plus years, it was full of concessions to pick from that was predetermained and layed out by the TWU.  Very sad indeed.  I really do feel sorry for you guys if you are forced onto keeping the TWU and/or IAM...

Can you scan and post a copy of that survey to prove that it was asking your membership to give items back. Or was it just asking you to list items you want in a priority order?

The problem with listing stuff in priority order is that most of it is top priority.  Pay, benefits, retirement are all equally important but they want us to prioritize them.  So if I choose pay as first then they give away my retirement and benefits and tell me they got me what I wanted.  I want everything that was taken from me and it is all equally important.  Survey's have been used against us in the past.

No I cannot, been gone for some time now.  4 others have posted the same or close to the same as I.  Get a hold of the TWU and ask them for a copy.  I am sure they are soooooo proud of their list put together they still have a copy to share, maybe???
