As far as
Alliance proposals that accurately reflect your primary concerns
We want all our #### back we lost 10 years ago

better yet we want the twu and the iam off the property
Then sign and turn in AMFA cards.  If this is all true and this goes thru there will be a flood of cards going to AMFA.  Start them now guys. Get them in so a vote can actually happen...

  1. Q: Will I have the opportunity to vote on whether or not I am represented by the Association?
A: Yes. Following the completion of the American – US Airways’ merger, the Associations will file representation applications with the National Mediation Board (NMB), a federal agency, which will culminate in three separate elections, one for each of the Mechanic & Related, Fleet Service and Stores classifications. You will vote in the election of the classification in which you work with others from both carriers.

Well, they have , in fact, filed the representation applications with the NMB, soooo, I'm assuming they think it's complete enough.

Now, let's get on with that promised vote already...

I read it as "After the Completion" is the completion over yet ? Its a futuristic answer for down-the-road representation. A little deceptive?...maybe.... JMO
I don't see it any other way. I see it simply as WE WILL VOTE!

With twu Rep's like NYer What chance do you really have? How can you get anywhere when you have to fight your Company AND your union.

Hence the history of the TWU at AA.

Read question 5 of the association Q&A. It says the members will get to vote.
The TWU/IAM wouldn't lie to us......would they?

Don't be fooled again.  Both the IAM and the TWU have lied to their members in the past and will continue to do so in the future.  The TWU has admitted to behind closed door meetings with the NMB since that post you posted came out.  Along with all of 700'S deceptions and gimmicks I would not put it pass the TWU/IAM and the company to help push this thru with no vote.  If this thing does get blessed without a vote, I predict chaos will begin...

Let's not get the cart before the horse, the NMB hasn't ruled yet.
Exactly.  Wait for the "official" ruling from the NMB.  This association is coming, and will be ok by the NMB, the question is, will there really be a vote?

I'm sure the nmb gave both unions a courtesy heads up. Read the letter from the union again. NO mention of a vote. You come to your own conclusion. I expect a official decision to be released today before days end.
