No it wasn't.  I was being sarcastic.  I already knew who it is.  Just throwing a little bait out there to see if he's man enough to post it was him.  Looks like even 700 fell for it as well. See how quickly he reverts to calling people stupid, dumb ect...  LOL  You just gotta LUV this stuff!!!

C'mon little buddy, you can do it.  Will you be man enough to admit you voted for the Alliance?   Don't be a coward.  Don't hide behind the keyboard.  Be a man and say hey, yes, I did vote for it.  But you won't because you are a little coward.  Carry on sir, and you know who I am talking to...

I guess if the vote goes yes your stuck with the alliance. If the vote goes no then your stuck with the TWU because they would be the larger union after integration. Thats the way it has been explained to me. Correct me if Im wrong on this.

I say go non union at least it's only one entity (AA) screwing us. At least AA pays me, I have to pay the TWU for this.

Not sure, But I think that WHEN the alliance gets rejected, we would then have an election between the IAM and TWU....

Whatever the choices, it's AMFA for me.

Gentlemen, Once again, you will not get two votes here.

You do not get to vote on the alliance and then get another vote on representation.

You will have 1 vote for representation. The NMB will conduct that vote.

If the Alliance(TWU/IAM) is the only organization to file and there are no intervenors then your choices will only be - the Alliance - other/write in - no union.

^^this is why you need those signed cards ready!!

IF the IAM/TWU vote happens then AMFA vote is a moot point.

And how do you figure that?

If AMFA files before a STS determination is requested then its just about American - A subsequent filing will not block AMFA

If the IAM/TWU petition for a vote first then AMFA will have a window to file as an intervenor - there cant be an ibt/AA quick file in this case.

If there is an SCS determination, and then the Alliance files for a vote BEFORE AMFA files, then if AMFA doesnt have 50%+1 of the combined group and doesnt file as an intervenor, then AMFA cant file for another year after the tally date of the Alliance vote.

Remember if they file after the Alliance does, it is both groups total, not just the AA side.

No argument - But an STS filing for determination has to be announced, and as of today none has. Nevermind, that an STS investigation isn't an overnight process.

The ban on filing on American alone expires in August - I doubt AMFA will telegraph their filing this time to avoid any last minute shenanigans, and should the IAM/TWU file for STS before the August ban expires, then AMFA has all the time during the investigation to collect cards at US - thats if they aren't collecting there already.

The SCS wont take longer than you think, as APA/USAPA and APFA/AFA have already filed their application for the SCS to the NMB, so the process is already in the works, once those are found to be an STS, its just a formality for the IAM/TWU.

There are some cards being signed at US, but no where near the 50%+1 needed.

Be that as it may, as i said it still not an overnight process - as to the cards - just remember, once you have STS then its just one group. AMFA doesn't need 50% +1 from US alone, if they have more than 50%+1 at AA to make up the difference.

And as it has been posted here AMFA knows they already had more than 60% as of the last attempted filing. Couple that with the TWUs declining stock and general dislike for the Alliance, and I for one would be really surprised if AMFA didn't have enough cards.

We will see
