Twu/amfa Update 1

I doubt DAN will spend a dime on lawyers. Lawyers love easy win cases like DAN'S!
They will represent him for free knowing that AA can not win this case! The company changed the charges at the last minute to fire DAN. If people can go fishing on company time and get their job back, do you really think a judge or jury will rule in AA's favor in this case? If you do,you're the one out of the loop,TWUER!

It's funny that you talk about insubordination,TWUER. You're the one that want's to give the company everything it wants! You TWU losers love being subordinate don't you?

You are so far out of the loop Princess it's scary. Dan's actions are absurd. Like I said he is out for martyrdom!!!! Trumped up charges?????? I guess insubordination, 3 times even, is allowed in your books???? Dan knew exactly what he was doing!! You appear as dumb as he does.

Take it to court! Who cares but you and Dan!!!! I wonder how much money he will spend on the high priced amfa lawyers??????

What a joke!!!!

You sure claim to know a lot about the situation at AFW twuer, being that your in Tulsa. I guess the twu manure spreader has a hell of a reach. I know the stench coming from Pine street drifts quite far some days. Previously you stated, "I know more than you think I do". We are still waiting to for you to expound on that "extensive knowledge". Evidently, it will take time.

Unlike a twu coward, Dan stood his ground. It took the company/union two weeks to figure out what to charge him with. First it was work performance, but that won't work, so now its insubordination. Just can't seem to get the right trumped up charge they want. I wonder why that is?

Good thing Dan has a great attorney. If it was art Lew-by, he'd really be done for. So art Lew-by is a top 100 of who's who in the attorney world huh? We in the U.S. must really be in dire need of attorneys if a doorknob like art Lew-by made the list. I shudder to comtemplate art Lew-by facing a PEB like Mr. Seham did with NWA. Alas, not to worry, the twu International would never have the balls to push AA to that point. They would cower first, like they have since 1983. Like the true company union they are.

I wish the company/union good luck in getting these B.S. charges to stick. There were so many mistakes made in Dan's case that a good attorney like Mr. Seham will have field day.

Enjoy your last twu days twuer, they are coming to an end very soon. ;)

THE twu IS OUT THE DOOR IN 04!!!!

What I want to know is what is wrong with this t-shirt in the first place?

Is the TRUTH to much for the TWU and AA bed-wetters to handle?

What's wrong with it is TWU was hoping that we have a short memory. They don't want you to be reminded of how they sold us out. Bringing us that contract to vote on was "necessary for survival". Reminding them of what they did to us is a "slap in their face". HOW DARE YOU.

Oh, Dave, you bring up the word "moron". . .let me tell you what a real moron is. . . . . his name is Dan Cunnigham!!! I hear that Mr. Company Man has decided NOT to sign a career decision day and has opted for termination instead!!!!!! I do believe that Mr. Cunningham has just attempted to turn himself into a martyr!!!! PATHETIC!!!! Are you next?????????

What do you guys have up your sleeves Dave? If you do have something, you better hope it is more successful then what you have previously attempted, that's for sure!!!!!
It figures that you would encourage people to unjustly accept a career decision day instead of fighting.

Thats the TWU way, submit to the company's threats and never fight back.

We had a member choose to fight instead of accepting a Career Decision Day. Little called him and told him to accept it. He told Little no, if the TWU does not want to fight for him he would get a lawyer that would. It probably would have been Seham. We had another case a few years back where the TWU wrote off a mechanic who cashed in on his associate membership and Seham got him his job back. Obviously the TWU did not want that to happen again and they wanted to make sure that the employee endured at least some sort of penalty so the company would not get mad. We made the mistake of letting Luby do the case. Luby managed to blow half his back pay by not showing how the mechanic addressed the items he wrote up. What should have been a blowout victory was only half won.

He picks and chooses his own fights. He just lost this one!!!

And the TWU chooses to never fight under any circumstances.

Even if it means giving away Holidays, Vacations, benifits and pay!

So tell us what article would the TWU be willing to fight for?

I know -Check-off!

Having the company pay $3.1 million to union officials is not even covered in the contract.

By the way, if the TWU did not pay TWU International Rep Bobby Gless-since he is not on the LM-2, and his dues were paid through AA payroll, does that mean that Bobby, while having the title of TWU International Rep was in fact an AA employee at the time when he was presenting himself as a union official? Could that be considered fraud?

Why do you have a problem with another employee exercising his freedom of choice?

If this story is true and Dan really did defy his supervisors instructions to ditch the shirt, I'd say he's in deep do-do! Anyone with Union experience knows insubordination is a tough one to beat. Arbitrators take a very dim view of it and have the opionion that "the work place is not a debating society". If this was an issue of saftey or he was told to do something illegal he'd be on solid ground, but a SHIRT? He's screwed himself on this one!

I should remind all our amfa fanatics that Management thru a fit when a bunch of Union supports started wearing the very popular "Piss on Amfa" shirts. Everyone was told in no uncertain terms to NEVER wear them at work again! Guess some amfa guy was offended!

AAmech, there is a difference between vulgarity and wearing a shirt that has listed what we gave up. That's all I see on the back of the shirt. It seems as though TWU is offended by someone reminding everyone in writing that we all got the shaft.

You could "feed your family" on Government Food Stamps.

That just shows how low you are willing to go.
