Not nessessarily. This is how amfa''s inexperience lack of REAL lawyers wrecks mechanics lives. In the ATL case they should have immediatly gone into Federal court and get an injunction against NWA to halt the closure of their maint base. When I was in the IBT we had management try and change our medical plan into an HMO. The IBT went into court got an injuction to stop the change, the judge then had the parties file a grivance and declare it deadlocked on the spot. He then ordered Management and IBT into expedited arbitration so it was settled within a matter of weeks. This is what a court can do.
