Ted Nugent

I wonder if Dell would have a problem with the government giving someone the right to own an automatic weapon to someone who fled to Canada during Vietnam.
I have not looked it up but I would think it depends if dodging the draft is a felony or not.

They were granted amnesty.  And if someone who got out of serving our country at a time when it was required shouldn't own a gun, I would argue that it shouldn't matter if they fled to Canada or **** their pants...

Tree and KCFlyer, how is this dodging the draft?

And while the problem is with the people and not the gun, I find it amazing that a guy who was deemed unfit to be issued a gun in a war zone has no problem getting a permit to own one outside a war zone.
I find it amazing that you are required to show a form of ID to exercise your 2nd amendment right to bear arms but not to exercise your right to vote.

I do have to compliment the Nuge on how fast his trigger finger is.  AFter all....there's no such thing as a legal automatic weapon...it's one shot per trigger pull...and the Nuge seems to have the fastest trigger finger in the US.
Jeezus, have you ever heard of a Class 3 Firearms License fly gurl? I guess not. You should stick to reading about fantasy "He shat himself" articles in High Times and serving drinks and coffee without spillage.

Nuge does have a fast and accurate trigger finger. He can also drop prey on the run at 75+ yards with a bow. I know, how horrible that must be for you.

Wack 'em and stack 'em

I never said he dodged it. According to some of the stories he has said (who knows what if anything he says is true) he made him self unappealing to the draft board in order to not get selected. Seems he got creative in 'dodging' the draft and did not need to resort to leaving the country. I do not take KC's statements that Nugent literally dodged the draft by fleeing but that he dodged the draft through dishonest means. But I am pretty sure you knew that and are just trying to split hairs.

I wonder if you can pin anything on Nugent.  All you keep doing, much like your boy Quags, is changing the narrative every time you fall flat on your face, which is pretty predictable.

Since there have only been 10 documented cases of voter ID fraud it would seem that ID for voting is not an issue. I'm willing to bet with out any ID requirements to buy a gun more than 10 people who should not have guns will be buying them. Just a hunch.

How Widespread is Voter Fraud? | 2012 Facts & Figures
Here are the facts:

[*]The Ohio Secretary of State admitted that multiple Ohio counties have more registered voters than residents.
[*]Federal records showed 160 counties in 19 states have over 100 percent voter registration.
[*]The Florida New Majority Education Fund, Democratic Party of Florida and the National Council of La Raza are currently under investigation for alleged voter registration fraud.
[*]True The Vote is Chuck Norris approved.
How popular is Voter ID?

All you keep doing, much like your boy Quags, is changing the narrative.
The topic was Nugent's repeated admission he filled his drawers to keep from getting drafted. The original crotchety incontinent.

And there you too go.....You selectively edited my post and forgot this:

I wonder if you can pin anything on Nugent.

The extreme republican right is filled with chicken hawks. Cheney got five deferments, Nuggent .... Who knows. I guess it depends on which if any of his stories is real. Looking through the republican roll calls the list is replete with examples.

The dems have their share as well but at least they seem to be a little less willing to send our troops off to fight senseless battles.

Senseless battles that Dems helped appropriate funds for.
