Teamsters filed at USAir for representation

The World is full of corruption all the way up to the President Of The UNITED STATES Barack Obama and his SCANDALS and I bet you voted for him!!

Welcome to the real world..

Notice how you cant answer nor refute it any of it.

Dont see any IAM International Presidents being convicted of crimes or put in jail.

Can you say the same about the IBT Presidents?

And Obama has nothing to do with the criminals and the mafia who run/ran the ibt.

Well here we are. July 8th. Voting time for the future representation for the M&R at US airways. Hope you guys get a big turn out. I have already seen a news article dated July 8th blaming the teamsters for "raiding" at US, for the stall-out of the contract talks. Hope you guys have done your homework. Just remember, IMO, you guys need to remain with the IAM rather than bringing in the teamsters. Look at what the teamsters have done over at UAL in their short time. Also don't forget that everyone has the option to "WRITE-IN" any union they want to represent them. Again I would recommend AMFA, otherwise just stay IAM and wait and see what comes out of the AA situation as well as after the merger. If there is a vote at AA there will be a "WRITE-IN" campaign for AMFA to represent them, and there will be a rather high number writing in AMFA, which, IMO, more than likely will land AMFA on the run-off ballot. Stay tune and watch it unfold over at AA before you vote at US, you guys may want to see how things are moving at AA, before you make your vote. Good luck to you all in the next 5 weeks...
Just wanted to add; with the latest fiasco at AA with the all time record filing from the company to supply the eligibility list in a matter of 4-6 hours after teamsters filing, just to help the TWU/teamsters to block AMFA from having a chance to get on the ballot speaks volumes. Now that the AA guys has seen this collusion between the company and union as they have done for many decades of their representation at AA, they are now ready for change for the better and the AMFA "WRITE-IN" campaign will be even bigger than ever. Even the company (AA) sees how transparent AMFA is compared to the TWU and the teamsters and they do not want what they currently have to change so they can continue to conduct "behind close door" deals and get letters of change thru with-out memberships vote. Why else would the company and 2 other unions work so hard together to keep AMFA out? Because they know what this will do once AMFA gets in. It will spread like wild fires thru our industry as everyone will see exactly how AMFA is ran and controlled by the membership and not the National leaders, it is all controlled by MECHANICS...

The ballot instructions were mailed today, you cant vote until you receive it from the NMB as it contains your pin number.

You just lost the entire argument when you condoned corruption, just because YOU think it’s prevalent everywhere! This administration has Federal Laws and regulations designed to suppress corruption! The GOP argues that freeing up legislation that regulates Corporate Corruption in order to keep it in check, is detrimental to the economy!

That mindset is like giving the skunk the keys to the henhouse...

You guys have LOST this election!

First off I did not say I condoned it! You would have to be a dimwit not to see it all around you but to use this as a deterrent not to vote for a union when other unions have as much corruption is BS.
As far as giving the skunk the keys to the hen house, I think he's had the keys long enough! Lets give them to the fox and let him run with them and see if he can get something from the Company as the skunk stunk this mess up. The FOX has a track record for better contracts hands down.
I have said this before AA will dictate what Union will be here and my bet is it will be IBT, you know the smart as a fox union!
The writing is on the wall and I smell the fear in the skunk!!!

from previous posts it sounds like amfa might be a write in.. the question is travis if the ibt does not win but amfa does how will you feel.. i understand ur wanting the ibt but how will u feel if ibt loses and amfa wins on a write in

I doubt the ibt or amfa will win, people arent going to give up their pension.

And the ibt had a conference call last night, this is what was said.

TEAMSTERS ABANDON US AIRWAYS. CAPTAIN BOURNE REFUSES TO JOIN CONFERENCE CALL!!!!

TEAMSTER ATTORNEY ADMITS THOSE NOT VESTED IN THE IAM NATIONAL PENSION PLAN WILL LOSE EVERYTHING!!!

TEAMSTERS DODGE QUESTIONS, END CALL EARLY DUE TO LACK OF PARTICIPATION!!!

TEAMSTERS main word SHOULD! (vesting in a new plan “should” count, ibt lawyer)

TEAMSTERS DENOUNCE THEIR OWN ORGANIZERS WHO USED “LOSE RECALL RIGHTS” SCARE TACTICS TO FRIGHTEN FURLOUGHED MEMBERS

Really? They can't vote until they get a ballot? Gee, I don't think anyone knew this, thx for the info. It is still the voting period from July 8 thru Aug 12th. Robbedagain; I hope you guys do a "WRITE-IN" for AMFA and have more votes than the teamsters, would be great to see AMFA and IAM on the ballot. However, if there is an election at AA, I am pretty darn sure that AMFA will prevail on the "WRITE-IN" option to get AMFA put on the "run-off" ballot as described by the NMB rules for elections. I honestly don't think US will get enough "WRITE-INS" for AMFA, but I know AA will and you guys may end up AMFA anyway after the merger. Good luck to you guys. "WRITE-IN" AMFA or just remain with the IAM until after merger is done. We had the teamsters at SWA and they are much, much worse than both the IAM and the TWU. Both these unions have been caught red handed doing "behind close door" deals without any membership input and votes. Not to mention all the corrupt actions we have all read and experienced in the past, currently, and as we all know so well, also in the future.

They dont get a ballot.

They get voting instructions.

AMFA talk at US is dead.

And AMFA did a steller job at NW, got their rear ends handed to them.

How about AS closing OAK heavy mtc under AMFA's watch.

And what about the loss of status quo because of AMFA, Seeham at ACA.

Gee 3 items you listed. I will still take AMFA over all 3 industrial unions who's nego contracts are all at the bottom. Even non-union carriers are above the industrial unions contracts, even comparing BK contracts. AMFA "talks" may be dead at US, but AMFA will not be dead if AA gets their chance to vote. Beware, AMFA may very well be at US in the end...

Stellar job IAM has done at us air. Concession after concession after concession. Those guys who lost their job at nw have been able to start over at other airlines/jobs and are now topped out, making more than us air mechs.

If AMFA is so bad or screwed up as bad as you say.........
Why are the AMT's at SWA and Alaska NOT looking to get rid of AMFA?
TWU and IAM have pissed off the membership to the point we want to replace them.
Has that happened at SWA and Alaska?
Actions are more creditable than talk.

Because AMFA has been able to keep the wages high, WN only has three lines of heavy with a fourth starting for a fleet of 589 planes.

Do the math, they outsource most of their work, AA, US or even UA will give you WN's wages, if you give them WN's workrules.
