Still avoiding the issue, if it was the greatest contract UPS would do their heavy mtc in-house, yet they farmout the overhaul.

Not the best in the industry if you don't have the scope language.

Yes I Guess When You Retire a Millionaire,From UPS Like Many Of MY A&P Mechanic's HAVE BEEN,I GUESS IT IS NOT THE BEST CONTRACT In THe World Of Aviation. HUH????? MWW

DO YOU EVER GIVE IT A REST? THAT IAM PAYCHECK WILL NOT KEEP ON GOING FOREVER. BUT TO ANSWER THE QUESTION WE HAVE NEVER HAD HEAVY MAINTENANCE SO THERE WASN'T EVER ANYTHING TAKEN AWAY. AS FAR AS THE BEST IN THE INDUSTRY, YOU TELL ME, 3 DAY WORK WEEK 43.76 PER HR AND AN AWESOME RETIREMENT AS WELL AS 95 PERCENT MEDICAL PAID. I SPENT 17 YEARS WITH THE SCAB IAM.....THERE IS NO COMPARISON PAL....GIVE IT A REST ALREADY AND TAKE A COUPLE OF DAYS TO GET AWAY FROM THE BOARD....SERIOUSLY.

Then why is there heavy maintenance outsourced at UPS?
Well genius, when you profit 4 billion a year why change the direction of the train? We have never had a layoff and have never had heavy maintenace in house, so I don't understand your argument. NOW call Dell and think of something to come back with, I know you won't put your contract against mine!!!!

How many planes does UPS have and how many mechanics for those planes?

You can have the best of everything with limited scope and a small amount of line mechanics.

Let Singapore Technologies overhaul your fleet.

Where is DELL, look over the cubicle and WAKE HIM UP!!!! As a matter of fact the BUF technicians were offered jobs in ROC along with SYR, however since then all have been recalled and added two jobs.

Let me see (and don't skip over this) as your IAM attempts to round up the scabs at NWA while its members walked past the NWA picket lines to work you want to talk about scope of contract. It is beside the point of mechanic to fleet type, would you like to hold up your contract next to mine?

How is Pit doing, How about SAN, BUR, SNA, BTV, etc etc, see genius these stations as well as probably 20-30 more were closed by USAirways while your fantastic IAM watched it happen. I actually moved six times in a 17 year career. How were these stations aloud to be closed? Let's not even bring up how I VOTED TWICE!!!! How about the million dollar payoff they received from the company after the second vote? Now I know you will come back with your usual, you and Dell get together in the IAM office and think of something, just answer the questions at hand. I am off the next 4 days, (I have a IBT negotiated three day work week) and will be pool side, so I unlike you will not be living on here. Chow

There are no unlicensed mechanics working in PHX. Go back to your little cave and try and get your facts right. Everyone that works on WEST AIRCRAFT have and FAA issued LICENSE

Out of the approx. 900 mechanics at AW isnt 400 or so non A&P?? Interior, GSE, etc. etc.

You and 700 must live in the same CAVE. The FAA issued repairman Certificates this is a FAA certificate same as a A&P only limited to a particular jobs working on Aircraft. Try reading the FAR's someday.

have the gumption or brains to get an A&P.

its an end around to the licensing procedure for big

business.And its an affront to the A&P mechanic vendoring

his work to some lower paid stooge.

Any licensed mechanic who supports employees holding

repairmans certificates is selling out his own craft.

tell me more of how your union has this great scope that lets your own A&P work be done by someone else for less than you make

Yes We Also Use this Repairmans Program for Hireing & Training Repairmen,As A Means to Promote Our Fellow Employee's After they Go To Mesa Community College & Get there A&P {AMT) cert's.So Amoung all Your VENOMOUS Misunderstanding's That is How we have Dealt with the attitude's that you have shown all the people that read your post's.Most Tech's will not work or want to work for US. So We Have Promoted our own People.
