Actually a Stock Clerk in CLT got in hot water with the FAA over some 02 Generators shipped on a flight out of CLT.

Since AWA is an elitist and a hypocrite(as he lets an unlicensed box handler negotiate his contract, a person who is not even an airline employee) he forgets you don't have to have a license for the FAA to act against someone.

good point...some just don't know these things....

he supports unlicensed mnechanics working at AWA,but wonder if he'd be willing to pay the fine or do the suspension when one under his auspices does wrong as FAA goes after HIS license as the other guy doesn't have one.oh yes they can go after the unlicensed mech in civil court but its easier and quicker to stiff the guy with his ticket. ;)

Everybody needs to take a look at these bozos!!!! 700UW and DELLDUDE, one after another on there posts. 700UW has been posting since 04:47 this morning!!!!! Already has 10 posts on this board and it is only 09:55 in the morning. Is that all you guys in the IAM offices do all day is play on your computers, come on....DO SOMETHING WITH YOUR LIFE!!!! Picture these guys sitting next to eachother in there IAM office cubicles next to eachother burning up all your monthly dues......Horrible!!!!

How many times do you have to be told that Delldude nor I work for the IAM.

This thread is about ibt corruption, not delldude or myself.

Call the UPS EAP program and get some help.

Okay, I digress, I am on west coast time. But dude, you guys (yourself along with Delldude) definately need something going on. Speaking of corruption and your IAM. I once worked for USAirways and now work for UPS. The unions are night and day. Guys reading these posts, trust me vote Teamster. It is awesome, and the best part you won't have to vote TWICE!!!!!!!

Hmmm....this sounds familiar. Isn't it the IAM that let lavman on the negotiating committee for the last go around with the company? You know, the one where the company handed your arse to you? If the dues for the members were being used for the members best interest one would think they would employ professional negotiators instead of Stock Clerks/Lavman et al who couldn't negotiate themselves out of the principals office for chewing gum. Yes, the great IAM at work. :up: :up: :up: :up: :up: :up: :up: :up:

get back when you get a good one,when and if.....industry has been dumbed down through the likes of LCC's and bargain basement wages and vendors.....its over in ths industry,pal.... ;)
 
The negotiating committee for the IAM and the company did not reach a T/A. And that was done on purpose by the Company.

How I know...I was there.

The judge abrogated the IAM contract. The company then sent out their final proposal to the IAM members and related, which sucked on purpose.

If the members would have voted that proposal down...the IAM would have been released to strike.

I wish with all my might that the IAM members would have voted down that proposal. I truly believe, U would not have wanted a strike on the property(as AWA was in the making). They would have brought the IAM in.

For these reasons there will be no forgiveness or tolerance for U managment Execs, Jerry Glass, Ford and Harrison and all the conmen past and current.

I would like to see U profit only for the sake of the employees that are left for THEIR RETURN on risk, sacrifice and investment.

With regard to CEO and company... combining two struggling companies doesn't yeild success. U is at an advantage point sitting on billions of investor money.

As Einstein quoted, "Insainity is when you repeat the same behavior over and over again expecting a different outcome".

You Are So BITTER you forgot to spell corectly,the WORD Is "CONTRACT". Yes "UPS" Mechanic's Top Out @ $43.00/Hourly wage,That is Many more Dollar's than I make @ $27.45/Hour.& They Have Many Options to Invest into as Well,401k,UPS retirement,Stock @ %15 under the Market Value.& Another Point of interest they OWN there OWN Bank.There by controling there own money.
