You don't have the intellect to get under my skin and the only one deflecting seems to be you, seeing as this is the 3rd or 4th time I have asked and yet to see any form of acknowledgement on how you can grossly exaggerate someones post. How is it u can't simply say you screwed up?

The DFW LOA, as its known, was to allow the Airtran mechanics stationed in DFW to bid into DAL with SWA mechanics as new hires until our merger became complete. Then they would bid with whatever seniority agreement we came up with. The Wright amendment forced Airtran to stop service into DFW after the aquisition thus displacing all Airtran employees stationed there. The company offer was to retro the 401K boost back to Jan 1, 2012 if the TA to
merge the 2 workgroups passed as well. It's a boost in 401K percentage company match from 7.6% (I believe) to 9.6% and the promise to open Denver MX within 90 days.. It might of passed if they would of not tied the TA to it.

As far as what the DFW guys have to do now, I don't know. They are spread throughout the AT system right now living out of suitcases, commuting back and forth to see their families. They fly SWA quite often so I'm sure someone has seen them.

thanks for clarifying... I guess I missed that the DEN maintenance and DFW issues were in the same LOA..... will be interesting to see where WN goes w/ this... this would seem to be a complication for them on several fronts.....

You're a little late to the party (or are conveniently ignoring it), as that has been explained already. Some of which was touched on in post 141, among others. If you want to keep grasping at straws, go right ahead. Anytime you'd like to comment more in depth about what I wrote in that same one would be fine too, though I'm sure it's easier for you to just keep running down this same tired track.

My only blunder was overestimating a couple of posters' comprehension abilites. My mistake.

Since you apparently require literal writing, here ya go: "You are assuming-or at least inferring- that the majority of these FL people will "suck." Since you only have first hand experience with a tiny fraction of them, what makes you assume that many- if not most- will underperform? How could you possibly know?"


Feel free to chime in on not only that, but what I wrote in 141. In the interest of consistentcy, make sure to include the terms "winning the lottery," "ungrateful," and "liberal."

Anything to keep the attention off of what you've previously written, I guess...
