Never say never. Keep in mind, this little proposal would cover ALPA's butt legally and satisfy the vast majority of US pilots. Since your MEC doesn't want to negotiate they may end up regretting that lack of vision. I think everyone will know sooner rather than later.

The arbitrated decision is not negotiable. ALPA and the EC know this, one day you and the PHL pilots will realize it too.
